The Carlinkit team did tell me they're working on 2018 Accord support, but didn't give me an ETA...so guess we'll see!

Carplay2air never acknowledged their adapter is not compatible with 2018 Honda Accord Touring. They asked me to update the device to the latest firmware. Unfortunately I am unable to update to version 2.0 and the latest as I only see solid red LED with USB drive inserted.

Opened a dispute with my CC bank for this transaction.

i will be doing the same with my 2019 accord sport if i do not hear something soon..

CPlay2Air Adapter works fine in my 2017 Peugeot 3008. With the current firmware it starts much faster. What does the frame around the navigation window mean? It never comes with the cable version.

That is the selected item for when using physical controls (if your car has those) instead of touch.

I think it's a side effect of the latest fixes they've done. On previous versions it did not appear "so much" but also physical controls didn't work for most cars.

I have that too and it steps on if the screen is interacted with for any of the car functions.
 
The latest firmware is working fine with a Pioneer Appradio4. It connects quick and steering wheel controls work for my 2017 Subaru Impreza.

The only issue is a delay when skipping to next/previous tracks. I’m not sure if this is just an issue with wireless CarPlay or something that can be fixed with firmware update.
 
The only issue I have now is that about 5 minutes into streaming music, the auto starts to degrade progressively until it's so garbled and the unit crashes. Happens every time.
 
Anyone seen this issue before? Thank for any help that you can provide. I don't know what login details does it want :/

"to click to the left of the pop up, and then enter into the log "world001+ Car model + Country " , and then submit the log, then Re-enter this page at 192.168.50.2, and wait for the system to push account and password, after you login with the account and password, please check updates and update to the latest version."

There's also a comment in the Chinese instructions to add "9999" to the batch. Unfortunately, after trying a bunch of different approaches, the system still does not push an account or password, so I'm stuck. I've tried clarifying the input of "world001+ Car model + Country" and have not received a response.

2018 Sierra. Updated today to the new firmware because it says it fixes navigation volume can’t be adjusted independently.

It didn’t fix that for my truck & now the audio starts shuttering after around 5 minutes of use.

I do want to say that carlinkit/carplay2air are doing a great job on this hack. They are almost there....
 
I found a clearing/forgetting my wifi and bluetooth for the device on the iphone then restarting has led to it work great since Sat/Sundays release. It was previously slow to connect and some stuttering in sound and vision (google maps) as though the connection was poor prior to the reboot.

No, there were no instructions on how to code for the car model or country. In the video, I believe this is entered into the log "World001激活日志". There's also a cutover where the account and password should generate.

Same issue here. I received it a week ago and stuck on same screen. They told me same command but not clear what it means. When I asked for clarification they sent me:


Hi, friend, thanks for the reply, I just checked and confirmed with our tech, because we are now having the Chinese Traditional New Year Holidays, our company is currently not working from Jan 18th to Jan 31st.

And the activation service for the wireless CarPlay dongle is currently suspended, because our tech is also having the holidays, so we are afraid that you will have to wait till February 01st, and then contact us again, we will help you to activate it and guides you how to use it then, thanks a lot!

Today’s update had the car buttons working perfectly for me for 4 calls. I could see the info in the dash, accept and end calls with the steering wheel button.

Then I went out later to test the function with AlanPlum and the functions no longer worked. So very disappointed after such great expectations.

That said, it works as before and it shows the Developer must be getting there with the buttions

Still no news concerning the support of MBUX USB-c? Last status was “not supported” and I did a test yesterday that confirm it. Frustrating after Mercedes annonce they finally won’t support wireless carplay on current model 😢
