No. Then it needs the same connections as with wireless CarPlay.Anyone who has CarLinkIt that works, mine never has, if you plug in the dongle, then an iPhone lead, so you get wired CarPlay work ok?
Does your car has a factory navigation system and a factory CarPlay? In that case it will probably work.Anyone using the adapter in a Peugeot 508 II? Can you tell me which is not working even after updating? Are there disadvantages like mentioned in the thread (glitches, music volume not getting lower during Navi announcment, etc)
Thanks in advanced

Bit naughty considering they are still taking orders but can't actually supply for at least another week or so.
Not an issue if they are clearly stating order delivery times.
It says Jeep 2019 on website, true or not for a 2019 Jeep Cherokee?
Yes , downgrade will worki will try all possible firmware (by downgrading via USB) if anyone is working i will keep you informed but will take a while i assume
I use the adapter on my MIB2 Golf7 fl without any problems. Leon should be the same.Hi, I’m thinking about buying it for my SEAT Leon (it has only cable CarPlay) but I’m afraid that it might cause any issues. It’s not actually a cheap product.
has anyone faced any kind of issue with Audi/seat/VW/Skoda units? As I assume they all probably share the same unit.
I have also the MIB2, how long do you have it? Have you experience any kind of issues or whatsoever? Because somehow, I feel some limitations in the CarPlay, for example, I can't scroll on the contacts on the driving wheel scroller, I have to manually scroll through the MIB2 screen (which is not very practical).I use the adapter on my MIB2 Golf7 fl without any problems. Personally would take with a pinch of salt. Says Vauxhall 2016-2019, but it doesn’t....
It’s very hit and miss. Even updates sometimes break things that worked before reading on here.
I got my adapter in 1. january week. Normally i use Siri on Carplay so no need on bottons on my steering wheel.I have also the MIB2, how long do you have it? I'm still considering this as an option, but I must say, not having it as wifi makes me almost never use it at all.
well how are they getting away with it and people are still buying them. $240AUD from here.

Thank you for the input.Hi Miguel, I am using the carplay2air adapter since some weeks with my Golf 7.5R / Discover Pro and I have to say, that the adapter is NOT working properly. Mabye reason is iPhone 11 Pro, I will test it the next days with an iPhone 8. Basically the connection is established very fast, BUT after 5-10min usage the connection between CarPlay and the iPhone seems to be getting very slow.
Slow means: delays on the CarPlay UI, stuttering audio or Siri. Latest firmware is already applied.
At the moment I will wait for a new firmware and will do the test with another iPhone.
