CarPlay CarPlay adapter to convert to wireless CarPlay?

well i just manually flashed my dongle with this 112.74.112.110/download/2020-03-03/
went fine, and started up good. however when checking the version number through the web it says
VER.2020.02.29.1311

Any hope this will resolve the compatibility issue wit Head units based on Android 5.1.1?

I have a jeep compass 2018 with latest uconnect 8.4 and I received Cplay2air today I’ve been trying to connect but nothing seems to happen on the screen, i tried the latest update on the folder 2-26 a blue and red led came after a min or so but still nothing happens when i press the phone icon on the car screen nothing is happening , i tried it on my friends Mercedes E300 2019 it worked flawless!! Any solution for Jeep guys

I also have a Compass (2020) and the same happens, at least with the firware version I have (not updated in a while).

Do you get a blue ligth on the dongle when connected to the car? All Iget is a red light that soon vanishes and it loops (looking at the UConnect settings the device appears for a while and then.. gone).

Exactly the same as mine. Flashes up and disappears. Timed it once and seen the interface pop up but disappeared.

Glad someone else on Intellilink/Vx tried as well and it’s not just mine then.

I’ve kept mine as when I got through to support they said send back, but would have cost loads. They know this as well and that’s why they’ll tell you it will work, and if not send back for refund.

They gave me a little refund, I bought via Amazon UK in case. So that’s only reason I kept it. Don’t think it will ever work.

I’ve told them numerous times that you advertise it will work on Vauxhall, but I can’t find where they said this now, if you can please link, and they now insist it won’t and just wait for updates......

I’ve heard nothing from them in the last few days.

I’ve forwarded everything to PayPal and requested a refund including return fees as this has clearly been mis sold and advertised wrongly.

thanx for the test buddy. Today i testet it again outside the carport, and it seemed better. However the dongle is unusable for me, as youtube streaming, iptv., video playing etc with my jailbroken iphone x on wireless carplay, has major delay. apparently this kind of video streaming needs more bandwitch that the dongle can handle.
So im looking into selling my carplay2air .

I suspect it was never designed for the bandwidth needed for the extras of a Jailbroken phone.

holy ****, they spit out fw every day. im considering going back to the official OTA fw. looking to see which version that is. the 26 feb fw im having stutter occasionally and pixelation, while listening to spotify and going navi with sygic

The latest fw however runs waze and Spotify decently. Almost no pixelation.

They messaged me 1am this morning asking for video proof it wasn't working and what it was doing, I've told them exactly how it's behaving and what I've done (previous bluetooth pairing removed etc) so many times but I think they're just stalling. I have the same problem with 2019 Peugeot 3008 without factory navigation. When i've ask them if is working on my car they said yes.. but is not working ..
I've talked with PayPal and they said that i have to return the adaptor to an address in Lithuania.

Did they say the Return postage costs would be covered? I've sent them proof that the item was mis sold.

Update 3/4 is running good for me. I have been testing the audio cut out issue. It seems to have stopped after I turned off WiFi calling under phone settings. I will update at the end of tomorrow to see if this is a work around. 2018 Toyota Camry

What model Mazda do you have? I tried the Carplay2air on my 2019 Miata and had it working for a few minutes, but lost contact with it while updating and never got it to work again. I returned it and am waiting to see if they give me a refund.
