At first he said he could not change the address. I mentioned this forum and he double checked and was able to switch both phone and case to my office address. He said he was able to do it because both the old phone and the new 7 were fully paid and not on an installment plan. Website shows updated information.
So basically your screwed if you bought the phone on a installment plan. This sucks

Not sure, others said they were on NEXT and had it changed. I think he might have been referring to that he did not have to go to a senior specialist to change it once he saw it was fully paid and not on an agreement, even though it shows as replacing the current ATT number.
 
Anyone know now how I can confirm shipping. I want to change it before it ships to avoid delays
You can confirm your shipping address, but you definitely can't change it.

I wanted to last year, when I realized the Pope was coming to town and I knew my phone would get delayed.

But they said you can't change it, unless you cancel your order and make a new one.

My phone already says preparing for shipment, I hope they can still change it.
Quit hoping; they can't.
 
If your order is still processing, you can do it from the order page on Apple.com without needing to chat/call support.

Hmmmm this wasn't the case for me. I only have cancel item not ship to different address and its still in Processing items.

And I paid for my phone so not on the Apple upgrade or att next and still they are saying they can't change it. Have been on hold now for almost 2 hours.

I fully paid also, was told they automatically lock it to the ATT billing address as security. There was no problem having it changed. It should be available online but it isn't. Was on hold for 2 hours. Don't give up. New shipping information shows now. 7 Plus 256 Jet Black

Yah there was a lag or something with ATT since it had my old address. It is updated with the correct one now as I checked but maybe it wasn't in sync when i ordered. I just hope its not a cluster on the phone with getting it updated. Seems like a simple thing to do.

I just started Next and was able to change it. There is an option on the site to chat about existing order. That's what I did and she changed it no questions asked.

Processing, my ship window is not till the 26th. I think there were very few Jet Black Plus that got the 16th. It took till about XX:06 for the store to finally load and then everything was set, email at XX:11

I was able to change my shipping address successfully this morning at 4 30 am. It then went to PFS stage.

Through apples chat. Ordered using Apple but used att next.
 
Got through to someone on the online chat. Because my order is preparing for shipment, they have to put in a special request to the shipping team to change the address. They said it could delay my delivery 1-2 days, but fingers crossed it won't.

At this point I honestly won't mind a delay, I just need the info changed
 
Just got off the phone. They changed my shipping address. Make sure you talk to att if you use them to verify the address matches or the order will be canceled if it doesn't match.

So we actually have to go into the ATT account and change the address first? Can anyone else confirm or deny this claim?

Not saying you do. That is what I was told. Since my shipping address was pulled from my att account. Apple rep said that when the order changes status it will validate the address info and if there is an issue it will cancel the order.
