Maybe on the X
Considerations for the X is the only thing I can think of at this point, so the question is why they had to not bifurcate it for the regulars. And will the X get it after it's patched back in?
Considering the X isn't out for months, they could have also left it in with the X being broken for a while, and patched it before launch.
They’ve removed the home screen from the app switcher.Huh, I wonder what the “constraint” was.

Thanks (and sorry for the inconvenience)! - craig"I'm super happy executives in Apple are actually answering questions from customers and Apple actually puts out statements regarding certain issues, for example.
It feels like a slightly more open Apple and that can only be a good thing.
No, I do not pause, if you start with enough pressure from the edge of the screen (with no case on), it will activate.
I will try and explain. I am right handed, and mostly use my phone one-handed in my right hand (I tend to carry things in my left hand (like my daughter)). Now, the case I have on my phone has a small edge that sticks up to give the screen some protection from being laid flat (as I’m sure a bunch do now-a-days). Now using the phone right handed and one-handed, I can’t do the 3D Touch control for multitasking, but that’s fine.
When I move to left handed, I tend to (with the way I hold my phone) slide from the case onto the phone, which tends to skip the edge where the 3D Touch area would be. I also tend to use more pressure with my left hand just because it’s my non-dominant hand. If I try to use it, because the case is right on the edge, trying to get the shortcut to work seems to be flaky for me, I basically end up sliding past the activation point.
Now, when we remove my case, which happens from time to time to clean it and I don’t always get it back on right away, when I use my phone one-handed (and in my left hand), I’m activating the shortcut 9 times out of 10 just because of how I use the phone.
Basically, TL;DR: I can’t use it from my right hand and in my left hand I just use to much pressure and the case defects me from using it so when the case is off, I use it all the time without trying.
And with my thumb always being around the home button, I don’t see the need for the shortcut anyway. Wish I had the money for the X, as that makes way more sense to me than the other shortcut.
Wow, that ended up being longer than I expected… sorry about that. Hope that makes sense.
Not saying you have to, but I'd strongly consider the newer Apple TV. If you don't have 4K, I bet you can find some good deals on the regular Apple TV 4 this holiday season. It was a massive improvement over the laggy Apple TV 3 and supports a lot more streaming services.I love you Craig!! How can I write hime to support Apple TV 3 with the CC app?
I'd be careful with that wish. We have seen the financial success of Apple under Cook's leadership.I freaking love Craig and hope that he replaces Tim someday! He's about 8 years younger than Tim so it's quite possible. I've said it before and I'll say it again: He somehow embodies the best of old Apple and the best of new Apple.
Thanks for the input! I am SO getting the new Apple TV but since there's still no release date in Mexico, I would like to use the CC Remote with ATV3 in the meantime. Not saying you have to, but I'd strongly consider the newer Apple TV. I thoroughly enjoyed the progression of this post, lol.I'd be careful with that wish. We have seen the financial success of Apple under Cook's leadership.

- Michael Jordan the player speaking to Michael Jordan the owner during drunken hallucination.
"He's right you know."
- MJ (played by Morgan Freeman) the baseball player to MJ the owner during same hallucination.
"Shut the hell up, I'm Michael Jordan dammit!"
- MJ the owner to the other MJ's in the hallucination

Moral of the story... everything sounds more important in Morgan Freeman voice.

Oh Craig, PLEASE make it optional. It's actually annoying when you accidentally enable this crap while playing...
