I just keep getting the "reservation not found" error after I was stopped at the "page not found" screen.

Both my reservations have this problem..."reservation not found". Frustrating for sure!! :D

First-world problems, I know!!
 
I received a reservation as well last night for a Jet Black 128GB 7+ due to the Verizon issues through the apple store app. When this happened I went ahead this morning and ordered a black 7+ through IUP thinking the reservation would never be confirmed. Well an hour later I received the confirmation, I can't move forward under the same phone number due to already purchasing the black model. Thinking I could order the Jet Black, get the promised delivery time offered last night and cancel the other order I tried under a different phone number under the same account (you can change the number after initial reservation login) and receive this error after entering all account password and SSN info.

"We are unable to connect at this time.." then the message goes in to telling me the next page will offer to schedule a time to come into the apple store or I can try again later.


Not sure if this is caused by me changing the phone number or just more technical issues but I have been trying throughout the day. I don't see anywhere in safari that indicates "US" in the url so I'm assuming this is a different issue.
 
I finally got through to support and apparently there's a server issue with Sprint customers and the reservation system and I was instructed to check back later. The employee said they are working on resolving it
 
Here's my story.

I took a screenshot of the "We have an iPhone for you" page with my reservation number at 3:20 AM EDT. I got the "Your iPhone has been reserved" e-mail at 6:01 AM, and "Important information about your iPhone reservation" at 6:04 AM. I was getting "the page you're looking for cannot be found" error until sometime between 12 PM and 1 PM. I was then experiencing the same thing as some other folks -- I couldn't select "Delivery" because it said Sprint might want a deposit, and I couldn't select "Pick up" because there are no local stores with the phone in stock.

I connected to a chat agent who was frighteningly unhelpful and did not understand the reservation e-mail I was asking about, e.g.:

"Okay you would not be able to have it delivered since that is a reservation for in store, to have it delivered you may place a new order but in this case you should check back often because the availability will change rapidly."

After a few rounds of the same unhelpful answers, I asked him if I would need to go to the back of the line and start over if the phone was still "unavailable for pickup" in all local stores through the expiration of my reservation (September 10 at 3 PM EDT). He replied,

"That would be the next thing to do but you will get a reservation as long as you check back often and hit refresh."

I called 1-800-MY-APPLE. I had to lie to the automated bot -- if I requested iPhone sales help, I was disconnected after being apologized to. I requested help with iPad sales and I got through to someone after about 12 minutes on hold. When I explained the situation to the rep, she said that I would need to pay Sprint the deposit that I owe them before I could proceed. I could instantly sense she had no idea what she was saying, so I cut my losses and hung up.

I started a new order for the phone (iPhone 7 Plus Rose Gold 128GB Sprint) and was able to complete the checkout process, including home delivery. No mention of any deposit. Unfortunately the delivery date is October 4 through October 10.

So the plan is to keep checking the reservation link to see if it will eventually allow me to claim the iPhone that I rightfully reserved for September 16 delivery at 3:20 AM EDT today; failing that, I will hope that the delivery window moves up on the phone, and will keep an eye out for this year's variant of the iStockNow live availability tracker map. I guess it will be a little fun to go on the hunt, and I'm hoping Sprint's unpopularity means I'll be able to find this model somewhere.

What a bummer. I almost feel bad for the customer support reps who are delivering false information to callers. I wish they could just admit they don't know what's going on and can't help.

Good luck to anyone else in the same boat as me. If you have any success with the reservation before it expires tomorrow, please post an update. I'll be checking in every so often to see if anyone gets lucky.

ADDENDUM: I was worried I would completely lose the reservation, even though it appears to be worthless, once I finalized a new order using the same Sprint phone number. But I am still able to use the reservation link and proceed to the "My Bag" page, even with the pending order. I am still seeing the same options as before, though -- no "Delivery" option because of a deposit, and no availability for pickup.

My story mirrors yours. I just spent 2.5 hours waiting on the phone waiting to talk to someone from Apple, and it wasn't of much help. They did acknowledge that they're having problems with their reservation line, and to keep trying, but the person on the phone just largely kept trying to refer me to Sprint, even though I had her go through the order process so she could see that, when you order it again, there's no shipping issues. Despite her offering to place a new order for me, with 2-3 week delivery time, she still referred me to Sprint to see if there were any deposits that need to be paid. Very frustrating.

Thank you! Hopefully they'll resolve it before my reservation expires, tomorrow. But at least that's something.
 
so this is JUST a sprint issue?

I'm with AT&T and having the same issue.

When I talked with a rep earlier, she told me about the fix: changing "US" in the address bar to "us." But my problem is I can't even log in! I thought I was locked out for trying too many times, so I waited for more than an hour, as a rep suggested, but still the same problem. I hope they resolve it soon before it expires... (tomorrow at noon PST)

I hope it's fixed in the morning! Mine expires at 4:00PM PDT

The US will be in the URL near the beginning when you get the page can't be found message. Struggled with this all morning and Apple was no help until someone posted this and bingo
 
I've been getting this ALL DAY. AT&T. "US" is nowhere to be found in the URL, at any step.

Hopefully you have success with Sprint. But it seems odd that it could be an account error when you can order the phone again and the deposit message is gone.
 
Great... well I also have a case number open with Apple. Hopefully they will sort this out. When I called the lady said "Are you with Sprint?" Don't know whose fault it is, but clearly somebody dropped the ball. Sprint seems clueless. They saw my number was eligible for upgrade and she switched me to sales.... :/ Like that is going to help. How do I get Sprint to stop telling Apple my account needs a deposit OR how to get Apple to fix their computer system and not show that message. The million dollar question. Ugh. Clock is ticking till my reservation terminates sigh.
 
Got my ATT order placed finally. Jet Black 128 GB for 10/18 - 10/31. Here's hoping it moves forward since my trade value was only locked until 10/4.

does anyone know if the reservation means you have a guaranteed ship date of 9/16? I was able to place an order last night, but delivery is not until October and I cant check the reservation w/o canceling my order for October. also havent been able to get through to support either.

This is the same error I've been getting. I believe this is separate from the page cannot be found error others experienced.
 
Yup. I just can't even log in. "Your reservation can't be found." And i don't think numerous attempts lock-out is the issue here. Has anyone had any luck?
 
Ok as somebody said this is not a Sprint problem. It may have been originally but now Sprint is fixed and the issue is all on Apple. I know Sprint is not the problem because if you try to create a new order it doesn't flag the deposit anymore. (As previous poster pointed out). This means that Apple needs to fix the information to your current reservation. I am back on hold with Apple and this time know not to let them pass the ball back to Sprint.

I ended up getting two emails, one with in minutes of placing my order, this one had my order number (About 15 mins after the site went live) and one at 6:45am today with a reservation number... As of right now I've been on hold waiting to talk to apple for 2 hours and 6 mins... Listening to the same 3 #$%&@# songs...
 
I don't know what happened, but my phone just got a text saying it's out for delivery TODAY via UPS (and it's sitting in my local depot now). Someone's messed up... ah well! :D
