Did you order to have one shipped @ ATT store?

What model & color? I think a lot of us who orderd 8 gig are the ones still waiting & 16 gig while seems to be shipping. I'm waiting for someone who ordered an 8 gig on Saturday to post they have shipped so I can go all ballistic.

But I was told that your credit card will not be charged until the phone SHIPS.
I've been refreshing the order status page and it fluctuated once from back ordered to not, then back. My credit card does not show the charge for the phone.

Where and when did you order if you don't mind. I also ordered 2 16Gb Black phones on Friday @ 1 Pm Central.
It seems alot of phones that are shipping were ordered friday.

Based on that; I think the common denominator is the lag between AT&T's order status page updates. I would not be suprised if phones start arriving before the page updates to reflect shipping status. One poster reported a 9 hour delay...

I think at this point there is no such thing as "in store supply". What the other poster was saying is that there probably isn't going to be fresh stock arriving to replenish the "in store supply" until the DF orders are filled. If that is true, there is no need to worry about the scenario that someone could walk in off the street and buy a phone while someone who placed a DF order has to wait for the box with their name on it to arrive because that scenario is probably not going to happen.
I'm not sure when it was charged. I called yesterday only because i got a new CC in the mail and activated it. Then i thought "oh no, maybe the iPhone order won't go through because it was used with the other card that has a different code on the back." I should have asked when it was charged. I have read in this thread that other people were charged too for it without shipment.
Ordered my 16GB Black and 16GB White at 11AM EDT on Friday. On Saturday I got an email saying the Black was Backordered 2-3 Days. Checking status throughout the weekend, both orders alternated between backorder 0 and 1, although not simultaneously. Same was true on Monday until 11PM when I went to bed. This (Tuesday) morning, both had been shipped. White from Memphis arriving today. Black from Ft. Worth arriving tomorrow (Black was shipped at 6AM, too late for FedEx to pick for Tuesday delivery.) While I was sweating bullets over the last 3 days wondering if I had made the right decision (to go Direct Fullfillment), it worked about as fast as it could have for me.

Im just outside of Atlanta and I Ordered mine around 10 AM Friday and
It says it was FedEx Overnight from Memphis TN!
Seems I just have rotten luck. Every order before mine is going to be delivered today. Mine and every order after mine=still backordered.
I'm far too impatient for this.

My order and numbers around it all show backorder.
You know as long as we're peeking into our neighbors order, it would be helpful to know what model they got. I'd rather know that than their name.
