An update on my situation:
They never took my e-mail address, and they never sent any e-mail to anybody on the AT&T account regarding my order. Took me this long to Google the item number on the receipt, and I was shocked to discover that the girl at the counter actually ordered THE WRONG PHONE. I guess I'm experiencing the disappointing delays of the 16GB Black iPhones as opposed to the carefree "OMG I GOT IT IN TWO DAYS" feeling of the 16GB White iPhones.
The manager at the store refuses to cancel my DF (which is still backordered) so I can't pick up the phone at an Apple store. Even so, the local Apple store is sold out over the weekend.
Disappointing and frustrating, AT&T.
(Just curious--what's the item number for a white 16gb? The black is 69114.)
The items number for the white is 69115 according to my receipt. I already got my white 16gb iphone via DF
