Me too. I had ordered Saturday. Originally showed up backordered, then an hour later it said 0 backordered. Woohoo! I figured I had a phone somewhere allocated to me.
I've been checking all day today (Sunday). Figured nothing would change today, they weren't working. Then just now I check and it says 1 backordered.
WTF. What gives? Did they run out of phones at the warehouse? Or are they trying to screw direct fulfillment customers and sending the phones to the stores to sell more. It won't work for me. I have a time limit. I signed up for AT&T service a week ago with what was supposed to be the 1st phone of a 3 phone family plan. If I don't get the phone this week, I'll have to cancel that account so I don't run out of my 30 day return on the 1st line. I may give up on the whole family plan idea and get an iPod touch. AT&T reception is very poor at my house anyway. Sprint reception is full strength.
There's always the option of getting one at the Apple store. Worst case AT&T may charge a 10% restocking fee if I can't cancel the phone.
