Did you order to have one shipped @ ATT store?

My 16GB black from 7/15 shipped last night and will be here on Monday. Just wanted to let you guys know and say, I'm outta here! lol Now if only that Vaja case would freakin' come. lol

Also.. if your freight ever goes to 0 back order... that seems like a good sign that you're shipping soon. Just wanted to note this.

I ordered on 7/17 and since Wed. evening I have moved from 72 to 5. I'm hoping I have it on Wednesday (ship Monday, arrive Tuesday, pick up Wed.). Probably no later than Thursday which would put me right at ten business days.
 
Guys, I've had no luck in Vegas with the Apple Stores... should I DF now? How long would it take, roughly? A few weeks or a few months... I'm totally clueless. :(
 
I went from #40 to #16 in 5 days with the most movement the past 2 days...looks like they are finally getting more in the stores.

White 16g = a couple of days most likely

Black 16g or Black 8g= around 2 weeks or so, but more seem to be moving now, so maybe even around a week/week and a half if they keep moving them at the rate they have the past 2 days.
 
I happen to want the white... what if I order through AT&T (DF) and then I still try to get one from Apple? Can I order one and cancel if I get one from Apple?

I think so, but I recommend checking with the AT&T store first. However, from the sounds of it, the white ones ships so quickly that it wouldn't matter.

I sort of wish I ordered white. I'm just going to throw a skin on the back anyway.
 
So what's an honest estimate for the white? Are we talking less than a week or just less than the black (and more than a week)?
 
As of a few days ago, the whites seemed to be shipping the day of or the day after they were ordered. I don't know if that is still the case because its possible there is some increased demand for the whites as a result of the blacks being out of stock. But I would think you could still have a white in your hands in three to four days.
 
Alright, going to DF my White 16GB... how will I track it? I can tell people get a little insane about it... I'm sure I'll be no different! :D

I went to do a DF today and the rep at the store said if I got a white it would be in "within 2 business days."
 
Sweet, it's still moving! I'm at #19 now. That's 12 shipped since noon! The person right before me go theirs. They probably had an 8GB. There's still one person left from 7/15 and 6 left from 7/16. 7/17 has 11 and then there's me! Yay! I will hopefully ship monday at this rate! As long as they get 16GB in!
 
Hellllll Yeahhh!!!! Mine shipped today!!! 16GB Black ordered 7/16 at about 1330. Waycross, GA.

Today is exactly 10 days from purchase, so I'll get in on the 28th, 9 business days from order. I was quoted 7-10 days, not hopeful at first, but it looks like ATT is finally getting stock.


They are coming, looks like maybe ATT underestimated how popular this phone would be and is now playing catchup. But they are catching up. Good luck to the rest of ya'll.

For information sake: I was still backordered this AM, checked this AM and my card was charged again, but still on backorder. Just checked and now it's shipped. No e-mail yet.
 
I was worried because of the sporadic shipping, a lot in front of some being shipped, but a certain "Curt Taylor" at my store ordered 4 phones on the 17th, and two of them were shipped today. I'm guessing that means he ordered 2 8gb and 2 16gb, and that means instead of being #22 like it says, I'm really #5 at the least for an 8gb! Here's to hoping for today or tomorrow shipping.
 
I'm now # 9 in line for my 16GB iphone in black, i'm hoping i'll get mine sometime next week, AT&T must have received a huge shipment of iphones in their warehouse.

i thought the limit of iphones 1 person could purchase was 3? unless the 3rd item is not an iphone, or did they raise the limit to 4 iphones?

Most likely yes. The delay at my store, like most, are the 16gb black. Someone shipped after me, and I know someone who had 3 or 4 ship after them that was also waiting on the 16gb black.
