I am sitting on a BH preorder as well and I also don't think the angst about the delivery dates and store closure are legitimate. The only statement ever made on a product page was that they'd begin shipping on 9/21. No one was ever guaranteed a ship date for their particular order, and the closure for the Jewish holiday was on the home page with a banner. They didn't hide anything, nor has there been a lack of transparency some are alleging.
There is, however, a perfectly legitimate complaint about their pre-order charging practices. It's a bad policy to take payment in full for an order you are not sure when you can delivery to your customers. There's no reason to do that whatsoever. I personally don't care, as if I have to pay it on this bill cycle or next doesn't make a difference to me, but for many it matters. BH should be lambasted for it and change it immediately.
