I just got my Vapor case yesterday and seems to work fine for me so far. Still have not done the software update and get 5 bars in my house.

I got the black case and think it looks sick.

It was hard to get a hold of Element but when I finally got hold of them, the guy that answered the phone seemed a bit rude and stressed.

Hmm first post and it's a picture of the vapor case. Maybe vapor is trying to do damage control and prove the case exsists in physical form, which it does.

Apparently they have shipped ONE, only 4999 to go.

Thanks for posting that picture! It looks great! I was starting to wonder if we would ever see it. Send some more pictures along if you get time.

I was thinking the same thing! And trying to throw us off by saying he spoke to Someone at Element and they were rude. Niiice...
You think the first person that got one would have taken better pictures, unboxing etc...

I hope I'm not sounding negative or doubting but the pics on the web site show a matte finish. I order the black one. This looks pretty shiny. Shiny black isn't what I was after.

It's kinnda ironic how the first real photograph of the thing provides no more helpful details than their bizarrely random and confusing renders. I still have no idea how the actual design of the cutout for headphone jack/noise cancelling mic looks like.

@leeb17: Can we get a couple of decent photos, pretty please? From all sides (showing the logo, cutouts, screws, etc.), and also if it's possible, just the case without the phone (showing the plastic material they've used inside). You'll make a lot of people happy around here.

Looks like a black sharpie marker paint job. I too was hoping for a matte anodizing. Something doesn't seem right.

That pic is the real deal, if you lighten the contrast you can see some of the same details from Element's site. (Silver screws and noise cancelling mic chamfer and cut out.)

Looks like the front edge doesn't overlap enough to protect the screen???
