That's all people want (besides the case!) is some communication. How hard is it to post an update on a site or Twitter for crying out loud? It drives me crazy when people say they are too busy. Everyone is busy. Take two minutes, post an update and people will be mollified for awhile.
Funny, that's very similar to the discussions we were having more than two weeks ago. You know, after the "first batch" was dispatched (in a parallel universe, presumably!).
This is the way I see it:
- People who would happily pay +80 USD for nothing but a bunch of ambiguous renders are less likely to cancel their orders. PayPal/credit card dispute deadlines won't change anything. I haven't placed an order yet and won't until I read some detailed reviews. But that's just me. I'm not going to worry about other people's money!
- Element Case people simply don't care. They won't be updating or changing the way they've been dealing with this mess. They will continue to give false hope and act unprofessional for reasons nobody understands. As you said it yourself, the damage of telling the truth from the get go would have been much less. Too late now. So, whatever! Takes literally two minutes to update their twitter feed or facebook page. Can be done on the phone while taking a crap (what? as if none of you have done it before!
😛). What's causing this ridiculous hesitation is beyond me. And to be honest, I couldn't care less any more. Visiting this thread has become a nasty habit of mine and many others. I lost my interest in the main topic after I found out they were deliberately misinforming people about shipments. Just visiting every 30 minutes because if I don't, I get a horrible rash!
- Two weeks from now, well... There is a very good chance that it'll be business as usual over here. People speculating, making fun, letting off steam, daydreaming and so on...
