World Indigo / Lime Blast Nike today at the ball field with the kids.

On a related note, anyone got any advice for best practices in washing a Nike sport loop? A little sloppy with the sunscreen. 😕

Washing machine in a garment bag on cold with a little bit of detergent. Air dry after. Works great on woven nylons, too.

Alright band experts — I grabbed this off eBay as a “pink classic buckle.” Based on the photos, I thought it was probably Pink Fuschia. But now that I have it, I’m thinking it’s Berry.

Can any of you smart folks offer a definitive opinion?

Thanks!

L-R: Soft Pink, Ruby Red, Berry, Pink Fuchsia, Red. Based on your pics I’d say yours is either Ruby Red or Berry.

If you’re looking for gen 1 blue I apparently have two extras now to sell 🤣

It’s hard to capture in pics, but I was surprised how brighter flash is than lemonade:

in that way they remind me of vitamin C and Papaya. In both cases I have a clear favorite band, though I think the duller ones (Lemonade and papaya) still work well outside.

@athousandbands beat me to it, but here are just those two together:
View attachment 933279I agree with him that surf seems more luminous and less gray. @athousandbands , I’d be interested in seeing an ocean/blue horizon comparison pic if you have them both.
I love the analogy of flash being lemonade’s vitamin c! Apple Watch for sure guards against scurvy.

I do not have horizon, as I did not make the 1to3 cut-off 😭 but here’s a totally unrelated pair that going on two years I’m still not sure isn’t a fashion crime...to keep the thread fresh with Content™: olive flak loop on GSS

Question for all the knowledgeable peeps out here. I got a Seashell 44mm loop, the seller had it listed as MTMA2AM/A, the chart of bands has it as starting with MQW82 - I attribute this difference to Apple switching watch case sizes. Anyhow, I received a blank white box with the back label stating 3D964AM/A 44mm Seashell sport loop demo.

So - could anyone explain this whole 'DEMO" box thing to me? I would greatly appreciate it. The band does have the "Assembled in China" on the lug and the 44mm tag on the band. I know it is a legit band, just do not understand the demo bit.

Thanks! (What’s crazy is prior to May I only had 4-5! 😳)
There a couple colors I’d love to find, but of course they are the super rare expensive ones (Violet Dust/Plum Fog, Blue Orbit Gamma, Hyper Grape loop), so... doubt they’re gonna happen. The one thing I’ve managed to stick is not getting any for more than retail. I’d say I’m gonna try to not buy any more for the time being, however every time I say that, I end up finding another great deal. 😆

Hoping Apple comes out with something purple for the Fall!

I hear ya! I said the same thing a month ago, and I just bought 2 more. I’m up to 11 band purchases in the past month. 🤣🤣

Every Apple Premium Reseller gets a bunch of demo bands for their showroom and for try-ons. The bands are 100% legit, but not for sale, at least not officially. And every of the demo bands has it own model number, so an APR can order any band at Apple individually.
It is always worth it to check an APR for older or not-available-anymore-bands. :)

The straps presented for demonstration on tables in apple stores or in authorized resellers are delivered in white boxes without a picture and are not intended for retail sale. They are no different from ordinary straps, only a box. All demo units (iphone, ipad, ipod, aw and accessories) have the number 3 at the beginning of the part number
