“Mashed potato” were the 1st Gen. The Gen 2 are the same as the Gen 3 just without the stitching then Gen 4 is the same as Gen 3 but with bigger buckle.

Its hard to get the true colour to come across in a photo but isn’t it too light in colour to be Midnight Blue 3rd gen?

I think that’s Sea Blue going by the buckle.

Somewhat related. WatchOS 7 now allows you to share watch faces. There are new websites popping up, one in particular buddywatch.com.
It would be cool if we as a community could build a set of watch faces that go with the bands we know and love. I’ve seen some great combinations in this thread.

Awesome illustration. Much better than the first attempt! The scary part is knowing that someone out there has literally every single band of all styles Apple has ever made, probably including a gold link. For sure someone who works at Apple.
