Khaki sport band, another one that’s clearly much nicer IRL than in the hero shot:

The number, or the text code? The text code is SVC, BAND, SPORT, 44MM, LIGHT GREY. You must have a titanium edition watch to order it though. It won’t show up for the Apple advisor otherwise.
P/N number. I’m trying to identify this:

It is sealed and described as ‘grey’. The black/grey ceramic band I have was in a box like this and I have seen other replacement ‘special’ bands in similar packaging.

It’s an eBay listing by the way, not something in my possession.

I happen to have a light grey replacement band in my possession. Give me 30 mins and I will tell you what the P/N is for the light grey titanium band.

The P/N on my light grey replacement band is 605-05849. Your part could be any part, including 2015 Grey. Pretty much all Apple reserve bands (even those for regular releases sold to the public) come in plain white boxes, so that alone doesn’t mean that it is from an Edition Watch.

if I told Apple Support I need a replacement Pure Platinum/Black I’d imagine they would just tell me to buy one online or in store? What scenario would require a specialized replacement sent out for a retail band?

If the band was defective and was replaced under warranty.
Even then I’d imagine it’s much easier for them to say “Take it to an Apple Store and tell them you need a replacement for your defective band.”

I had to get a replacement set of AirPods a week or so after I got mine, and that all happened at the store. Don’t see why it would be any different with bands.

You can believe me or not, but I can tell you from experience that all replacement bands come in plain white boxes, even those for retail bands.

You mean it's rare there? Oh they just finalize $53.
$53 is a pretty good price. Ill take one!

They’re rare, yes. Here in the states we don’t really have discount shops quite like that one, so finding deals on these bands is usually online 90% of the time.

There’s a 38mm on eBay right now for $60, but that’s about it.

Ah, that’s good to know - it will remain Schrodinger’s Watch Band for the moment then. Thanks for checking for me!
