Is the Celestial Teal Nike Sport Band rare? I've got a chance to have the 40 mm for my AW new and sealed.
The 40mm is not as rare as the 44 but it’s still a great band to have and is discontinued.
Yeah I generally noticed that all of the 44 mm go sould out faster no matter what. Maybe because the 44 mm watch is more popular? I don't know. Well, more choice for me and my tiny wrist 😆
I think it depends on the colour. At risk of stereotyping I think the 44mm sells out in the darker colours and the 40mm in the brighter / lighter shades. By way of example Chargerstore charges more for a 40mm Dragon Fruit than a 44mm one, but less for a 38mm Walnut than a 42mm one.
Kinda glad to hear this re: blue Al as it confirms my initial hesitation. I was very tempted but wondered if some bands might clash. Happy I went with a neutral case.
Will you say the red is a nicer color than the blue? Prefer a more vibrant color for the S6 (from all the silvers/space greys/golds) but most photos show the blue as quite dark and not that distinguishable from a space grey at first glance, although I will personally prefer a blue watch to a red one. Band-wise, I could just always pair the blue with the few blue bands I have.
Yes, the red definitely popped more. In a darker room, the blue does look almost black.
I tried a bunch of bands on it. Anything with blue looked pretty good. Everything else--not so much. I think if you go blue, you have to be all in. The neutral colors (gray, titanium) go with a bunch of different bands. I decided if I want my boring gray watch to pop, I can always put a vibrant band on it.
You might as well open it up and take a look then. You don't have to return it immediately. Maybe you'll love it.
I've been pursuing other threads here and looking at some of the combinations of Blue Watch and bands people are posting. Some just look ridiculously tacky, but to each their own.
As promised, here is a comparison of Ginger and Lemon cream (the only other yellow band I own). As a bonus, all the bands in bright sunlight.
Obsidian mist is very interesting.. shades of blue in the sunlight and light gray in low lighting!

I wasn't very happy with my choice of the Blue Black/Bright Mango to go with my series 6 Nike, but from your pictures and this video I'm glad I went for it.
Yep, but my wife wasn't so desperate to rip the boxes open and get at her bands than I was!
What can I say... I didn't even know 'pinky-orange/orangey-pink' was a thing until I started collecting watch bands. Somebody at Apple seems to love that combo though - I can't help thinking that after seeing the ginger/canary photos above, Cupertino are really starting to bang out cover versions of their greatest hits...
Here we go... Original Pink at the top, then Pink Citrus, then Nectarine, then Clementine at the bottom. Indirect light and then sunlight. I would have pulled out a few more to compare, but I'm paranoid that I'll get them confused and put the spare parts back in the wrong boxes...
In my eyes, Nectarine is the closest.
It turns out my non-clicking Deep Navy is the same on S3 Ceramic and S5 Alum, so definitely a duffer. The S/M part of my Obsidian Mist/Black is INCREDIBLY tough to fit to the S3 although it does 'click', but also pretty stiff on the S5, so that's going to go back too. BB/B Mango is fine.

Yeesh! That’s what I was afraid of. I thought nectarine would be more orange though, or is it being sucked into the pinkyness of all the others? 😂 I’m really starting to think these repeat colors happen because most people don’t collect bands, and that Apple wants each new generation of Watch buyers to have a chance at the same type of colors?? That way instead of having to head to eBay, they head to the Apple store and pick up essentially the same shade.
sweet, my watch shipped, but it says it will arrive on the 28th =/ my series four is broken so ive been using my series two and it is just taking longer and longer to charge and not staying charged as long, this will be a long 9 days.
