I wonder if the fact that the metal lug is open on the side means over time the yarn will smush out and get closer to the hero image, which is probably CGI anyway.

Someone runs into you with small or large vehicle? Traffic violation? Doesn't make sense.
I’ve read several responses here about the new ginger and pink citrus bands seeming identical to previous bands sold by Apple. How ‘bout the new navy colour? Does that one also come close or being similar to an already existing blue?

Intent, my friend, intent. If someone runs into you with a vehicle with a culpable mental state (negligence, recklessness, malice), then the penalties can be much higher. On the other hand, it is hard to imagine someone running into you with a knife without at minimum a negligent mental state.
There are very, very few crimes that don't take intent into account. Off the top of my head, the best example would be statutory rape, which is strict liability. On the other hand, intent is irrelevant for most civil penalties.

I wanted to get the obsidian mist sport loop with my Nike S6 but wait times were pretty long. Opted for a anthracite / black sport band (which I may sell) and managed to get Storm Grey instead from two years ago. I think it’s a long lost cousin of obsidian mist - don’t know why. I was just reminded of it!

Obsidian Mist loop gives me strong Hyper Grape vibes. I’m expecting that one to be a huge hit once it’s discontinued. Still waiting for someone to post lotsa photos of it!
It is VERY VERY close to Midnight Blue. Tried to capture in various lighting below. If anything I would say it is very slightly lighter and a little less grey than Midnight Blue.

I’m on the bandwagon that thinks Apple just wanted to refresh some colors for the solo loops. We’ll get some new colors in Winter.
Obisidian Mist is the loop I went for. I'm in the "shipment info recieved in Eindhoven" state at the moment but once it arrives, happy to post lots of photos. At the moment the Apple site says arriving Friday while the Store app says arriving Monday 28th.
can someone post a picture of the solo braid on an S3 or earlier watch? I'm really curious why Apple says these aren't compatible with pre Series 4 watches

I still believe Cyprus is very close to Pacific Green. Both incredibly dark, almost-black „greens“.
sure, the case length is one thing, I'm just curious if it's a "we can't guarantee this will be perfect" or if it legitimately does not work. I don't really want to drop $100 on a band I can't wear with my ceramic watch.
I wouldn't trust it yet anyways with the QC defects/design, sizing issues, misinformation, and shipping delays.

It looks totally like a knockoff in the first pic, with the gap where the band loops around and the stitching seems looser, but take a look at the second pic. It has a 42mm tag but it looks poorly glued on!
At least to this particular seller's credit, they have it listed as "Unbranded" and aren't trying to claim it's real. I wonder why this keeps happening with the Electric Pink?

Yep, another fake. Those lugs are too wobbly in finish to be real.
It’s a good thing I’ve finished my backlog loop collection because these fakes are getting better and better.

I beg to differ, respectfully! If you like neutrals / grayscale options, I’d say it’s a must. If you don’t find purple pulse to be too similar to Hyper Grape (SL), I’d say this is equally different from PP/B.

Yoinked sealed 44mm Cyprus Green - £12 under retail, so probably from someone who bought a Gold SS from John Lewis or such.
42mm Cargo Khaki/Black - I can return the new 38mm that turned up from Nike yesterday. My wife wasn’t keen on the colour anyway and this one was £30 cheaper!
Light Bone/Black - Superfluous Series 2 Nike not pictured.
Aaaaaaaaand...
Lilac and Celestial Teal/Black - Made me do not one, but two little happy dances...
As far as Nike SBs go, that’s it I’m DONE - 33/30.
Since changing the ‘rules’ about non-retail bands, I am within touching distance of all the SBs too. I have a Gen 4 Red in the post from Facebook Marketplace, leaving just Ginger, which shouldn’t be too hard to pick up... I even made a tidy profit on my Titanium Dark Grey band earlier today....
