Nice nice nice. I can’t imagine Celestial, Light Bone, and Lilac were cheap!

The whole boxed, complete NikeLab watch was £100. I’d never seen one come up before, so pulled the trigger. I now have an S2 for gardening and diy...

As for Lilac and Celestial, definitely not bargains by any measure... but they just don’t pop up much over here. I was spending waaaaaaaay too much time trawling eBay and various selling apps for these two, so in some ways I’ve bought myself some time back.

Today was a pretty good delivery day...

Yoinked sealed 44mm Cyprus Green - £12 under retail, so probably from someone who bought a Gold SS from John Lewis or such.

42mm Cargo Khaki/Black - I can return the new 38mm that turned up from Nike yesterday. My wife wasn’t keen on the colour anyway and this one was £30 cheaper!

Light Bone/Black - Superfluous Series 2 Nike not pictured.

Aaaaaaaaand...

Lilac and Celestial Teal/Black - Made me do not one, but two little happy dances...

As far as Nike SBs go, that’s it I’m DONE - 33/30.

Since changing the ‘rules’ about non-retail bands, I am within touching distance of all the SBs too. I have a Gen 4 Red in the post from Facebook Marketplace, leaving just Ginger, which shouldn’t be too hard to pick up... I even made a tidy profit on my Titanium Dark Grey band earlier today....

You have to look at it that way sometimes. When I was searching for Blue Orbit/Gamma Blue, I didn't pull the trigger on it a few times...I ended up saving $20 but lost out on it for about 6 months. But ended up buying many other bands that I don't like as much. It's one of my fav bands.

Sometimes it's just worth it.

Definitely. It has a hint of blue, but IMO: you only notice it when placed directly alongside its siblings, such as fog (left) and gray 2017 (right)

The bands are trickling in. Received my Product Red 2020 band yesterday, and shipping notice for quite a few others this morning. So I should have some new things to show of soon.

Meanwhile, the Product Red.

Like its loop cousin, it’s very bright — reminds me of somewhere between Red Raspberry and the original Pink.

can someone post a picture of the solo braid on an S3 or earlier watch? I'm really curious why Apple says these aren't compatible with pre Series 4 watches

I just received my first order of this season: Ginger SB, Product Red SL and Kumquat SL.

Ginger is nice, but it feels thinner than my other bands, and the marks are black unlike other bands which marks are a darker shade of the same color. It's my first yellow anyway, so I think I like it. (I found an OG Yellow for sale but I'm still waiting for it to arrive).

Product Red feels cheap. I love the bright color but the conector has plastic burrs, even knock offs have better finishes 😒.

Kumquat on the other hand is my favorite out of the 3. It’s what Vitamin C SL should’ve been. Here’s a shot with the Vitamin Cs

So exactly one of my ordered watch bands a) wasn’t cancelled and b) wasn’t delayed in delivery. So I spent yesterday with the Product Red Sport Loop 2020.

Yeh, that's how my Purple Pulse loop was.

Bad Apple. The burrs wore off after a few days use, but I did initially think of returning it.

OG Yellow is great!

I'm only speculating why the Solo bands might not be compatible with the S3. But I agree, the braided solo loop on the 44mm is bad. I have one on my S5 and it can't unsee the gaps. I'll be sending it back and reorder if/when they ship ones that fit.

My Dark Navy is out for delivery, whereas the other seven that shipped with it all the way to Wellington are on hold. I expect I won't get it today either as DHL isn't allowed to leave Apple orders without someone to receive them - at least that was the case a while back - and I'm in the office today. If it arrives today / early enough tomorrow when I'm working from home I can do some blue comparisons, assuming the weather plays nice. Right now it's half dark at 1:15pm and it's supposed to get worse later in the day.

On another note, it seems several people are going complete, at least on some types of band. By the time everything on its way gets to me I should have 33 of the 30 available Nike bands, but I still have five sport bands to track down to have 96 of the available 94 of those.

Who is complete and with what?

I am complete on Nike Loops and leather loops. Only missing Cargo Khaki/Black on Nike sport bands. Only missing light Gray, ginger, Cyprus, pink citrus, and red G4 in sport bands. Only missing kumquat, Inverness, and charcoal in sport loops.
