In case you haven’t seen it, there’s an unreleased Black/Pure Platinum or Black/Wolf Gray or something like that up for grabs. 38/40mm only, though. Possibly your last chance to ever get a new colorway with a black pin.

So I went crazy and ordered that Series 2 Ceramic I found the other day. It’s really stunning! I hadn’t seen an ceramic one with my own eyes, and as many of you have pointed out, it takes certain bands to a whole new level. It was a good purchase I guess, since the case and screen are in pristine condition and it even comes with the original fancy packaging and the Cloud Band in both sizes (although the ceramic back cover of the pin is missing). The performance is as expected for a Series 2 but not unacceptable at all, it’s not meant to be my everyday watch anyway.

How much did it sell for? I may be parting with mine. I have all the accessories and box too, and a ceramic cover on the pin!

Didn't last long - did someone on here snap it up?
I actually bought the set and he emailed me shortly after to say it was supposed to be for someone else so we cancelled the order. It's all good though cuz we're working out a price on the "trio" instead (I didn't really want those nylon ones anyway). 👍

ahh clementine looks so pink! why didnt i get sooner...i still haven't picked mine up from best buy
Yes, it's definitely more pink than Apple's illustration would suggest. I even had an initial doubt, as what I bought was in the sleeve only and did not include the original package. But it matches photos I've seen in this thread and elsewhere.

Apropos pink, I forgot to add this one to yesterday's trio, bought at the same time as the clementine band.

Sooo we got the first rumour of a new design for the S7 ... who is scared now that all our bands won‘t fit anymore? o_O

My guess would be that if the S7 has a different band size, attachment mechanism or such, they would have held off releasing the new band types (solo, braided, leather link) until then. I could be wrong though...

Also, I feel like the Series 3 wouldn't still be available. My gut tells me that when a new system is on the horizon, the year (or two) before they'll stop offering a really old series as the entry level.

I’m not worried.

As ARMless mentioned, they just released new band styles which have the current connector. They may change the design, possibly to something that fits the braided look a bit better, but they’ll still keep compatibility.

Honestly, I really don’t see them changing the connectors until the Series 10/X watches are upon us. We already know they’ll never go with a circular design, and if they change the connectors they’re likely to come out with an adapter of sorts.

Personally, I wouldn’t mind new connectors all too much. I’m still behind by a few series, so I have a while to catch up.
