They are not so close... blue g2, g1, surf in that order. That is not the best lighting though

Ok fellow band gurus... I have a problem... one was labeled fog, and one pebble. But I see exactly the same shade in the first phot and the other band lost we have antique white on bottom and white on top. The band labeled 40mm is supposed to be soft white. So what is the 38mm band that is a shade off?? The box photos are what the 40mm came in and no help to me at all

It’s just white G2. Probably both white G2. Lots of whites on eBay (the bands) being mislabeled as soft white.
Yeah same way you have a black G2 38mm, they still sell the Series 3 with white and black bands.
Interesting.. I thought that they were different and they really do look a good shade different even without the bad lights.
Could you take a pics of peach next to other orange of you have some, I’ m on the verge about this one

I mean it’s possible your 38 could be soft white I guess, but it’s more likely that one is just used more than the other.
My kid wanted them at ikea.. or maybe it was my husband 🤔 things are never where they belong with a toddler in the house.
When it’s daylight again yes. I only have papaya and Clementine and flamingo (if that counts) in the oranges. Guess I’m lacking there.
Actually the other 38 band was new just the box thrown away. I picked it up from my sister who did not want the band. I have not worn but once

Nice! I’m on the same boat. Only had 2 bands for the past 5 years not until march of last year and now i’ve just hit the 100th mark not to long ago and counting. I’m hoping you’ll have marine green for your 100th!
A rare chance to see a Sport Band vs. Solo Loop comparison while I still have the SB. Looking at the untouched DN Sport Band from a sealed box yoink, you can see how you lose some color where the light is hitting just inside the outside border.
Compared to a similar area in the Solo Loop where the color remains rich. And this is a Solo Loop I got used so it even has some shine/wear that kinda of mimics the natural color distribution of a Sport Band. Of course it’s not great that Deep Navy Solo Loop seems to have widespread shine issues but I think it still demonstrates how the color is slightly different between old and new styles.
I don’t know how evident it is in this artificially lit photo but irl the Solo Loop is definitely a little more Blue Horizon-y rich too, in addition to the better color distribution.
