Weirdly, missing one doesn’t bug me as much as when my summer series shots had huge gaps. And I’ll be grabbing Stone1 my next Charger bundle. The second instalment of the series titled "All but one of the Sport Bands Apple made. Ever"
Seriously though, those shots are good, but doesn't it just grind your gears not have one more band to complete the set?
Also worth noting I couldn't recreate that shot even though I have Stone 1. I say I'm complete, but I should probably say "retail complete" as I don't (yet) have any Edition bands for Watches I don't have. I say "yet" as I really don't see ever buying SBTi, and even natural Ti is only a possibility. I'd like to finish out my ceramics collection though, rather than buy Cloud.
Was there a difference between the S3 white and S5 Edition bands beyond 38/42 versus 40/44 sizing?
Thanks for that.Weirdly, missing one doesn’t bug me as much as when my summer series shots had huge gaps. And I’ll be grabbing Stone1 my next Charger bundle.
I don’t have Soft White/Pebble from the old Ceramic, just the Vanilla. I’d say 50/50 they’re the same, as I’m pretty sure Soft White from my bf’s S3 box is different than the one that shipped with the S5 Edition. The concrete for the old gold aluminum might not match the regular concrete, but maybe that’s just age.
Those three bands in a row with Gray in the name are all different and yes, Gray/Black is Ceramic Edition and much nicer than regular Gray, as is Dark Gray Ti. I really don’t know how to describe Dark Gray’s relationship to Gray, along the saturation/brightness dimensions. But it’s definitely more interesting than Gray.
Light Gray feels nicer, but look, here in the sun, it really gets close to its buddies, this is straight from camera:

SW/P was S3. Vanilla is just an internal name for soft white IIRC, much like how we've seen that "Red Velvet Sport Band" on the demo box, and how Flat Silver is like "Silver/White" or something.I have a mental block on what came with which white ceramic now... S2 was Cloud, S5 was Soft White, but where do Soft White / Pebble and Vanilla fit in?
Vanilla is the name I picked up from Bandbreite (which is copied from Apple) has to differentiate the underside as being not a second color like the other ceramic sport bands, especially the one with Pebble inside, as I understand it.SW/P was S3. Right, that makes sense.Vanilla is the name I picked up from Bandbreite (which is copied from Apple) has to differentiate the underside as being not a second color like the other ceramic sport bands, especially the one with Pebble inside, as I understand it.
Thanks, really helps me ! Peach definively goes in my wishlist 😃@ChrisBe69 So it’s raining gloom and doom today, no real light. But here’s an attempt I’m not super happy with (I like natural sunlight), but best I can do under some fake light atm. Clementine, Flamingo, Peach, Papaya. Out of the box, Peach looked a decently bright pastel creamsicle orange (I was excited when I saw), but it does pull some pink in some light, especially next to papaya. On wrist I see orange creamsicle. View attachment 1717651View attachment 1717653View attachment 1717654
is there something that doesn't look great with ceramic?!Anyone thoughts on khaki ? I think it might look great with white ceramic?
This and coastal gray are goals but coastal gray is hard to find
Yes, everything. Ceramic is a poor choice to match most bands with.is there something that doesn't look great with ceramic?!
I think I won't ever own a ceramic watch, but I gotta tell you, I agree with the team "stainless steel lugs don't look **THAT** great with other material/colour watches", but they still looks awesome on ceramic (I think they look better with silver SS thou).Yes, everything. That’s what I tell myself anyway. Makes not owning one just that little bit easier...

Agreed with stainless lugs.As for sport bands/nike sport bands/solo loops, they all look spectacular. Really, all of them.
The Black/Grey for my Grey Ceramic was also well used. Luckily, I already had a brand new one I picked up from eBay for £21. They are still available here:I haven’t compared my Gray / Black Edition with my Gray - I must do that. Might be worth trying to get a new one from Apple as the Edition band has been worn every day the Watch had by the look of it.

Although this strap is designed for the 42mm Series 1-3 Apple Watches, it will also fit the newer 44mm / 45mm Series 4 & later watches as well. The item is still genuine Apple though. I had no joy getting the equivalent White/Pebble from Apple, or anywhere else for that matter - frustratingly, my White S3 was missing the S/M piece.
And so as from today I am the proud owner of a Series 5 Space Gray Titanium Apple Watch. It’s in pristine condition, the included watch edition sport band was never used and even still has the plastic tag around the pin. The Saddle Brown leather loop was only worn once or twice, because the previous owner had bought a sport loop shortly after and always used that band. 😁Made an appointment for pick up tomorrow.
I’ve seen them being sold for less in the US, but after adding (a) the imho exaggerated shipping costs you pay for shipping from the US to Europe and (b) import taxes and regarding the basic fact that I can now see in advance with my own eyes what I’m actually buying makes it worth the while for me.
So your selling the grey band then 😁And so as from today I am the proud owner of a Series 5 Space Gray Titanium Apple Watch. Just bought a apparently only worn a few times Khaki band. Hopefully it has no shine. So your selling the grey band then 😁
Haven’t considered that, but I do actually already own one I purchased quite recently via eBay.So your selling the grey band then 😁
Coastal Gray is nice. I find it to pull a smokey purple undertone is some (mostly darker) lighting conditions. I just pulled it out of my band drawer, it being right next to khaki and thought wait it this lavendar gray? Oh no, it’s too dark for that. Doesn’t capture on camera.Anyone thoughts on khaki ? I think it might look great with white ceramic?

Jel of coastal gray. Khaki looks good, is it a band that shows shine. With the one coming I hope not. Is there anyway to remove shine with a magic eraser or something?Coastal Gray is nice. You and me both, my friend. It a conversation I have with myself every day while checking my saved listings on eBay to see if any of the Ceramic versions are still available.Yes, everything. Ceramic is a poor choice to match most bands with.
