is there something that doesn't look great with ceramic?!
Stainless Link bracelet. I watched a Youtube video where someone
chose it with that at the extra band, and 🤮. I could recreate it for all to see, but I refuse to defile my lovely new (to me) ceramic by doing that.
The Black/Grey for my Grey Ceramic was also well used. Luckily, I already had a brand new one I picked up from eBay for £21. They are still available here:
Although this strap is designed for the 42mm Series 1-3 Apple Watches, it will also fit the newer 44mm / 45mm Series 4 & later watches as well. The item is still genuine Apple though. The box may be very slightly tatty (minor dings on the corners etc from storage), but this will not affect the...

I had no joy getting the equivalent White/Pebble from Apple, or anywhere else for that matter - frustratingly, my White S3 was missing the S/M piece.
Thanks for that - it came with the ceramic pin?
Someone on here I understand got a new ceramic band out of Apple based on a serial number. I get the impression it was hard to do, and me doing it with Apple NZ when they weren't ever available here, or Apple overseas from NZ would probably push it to near impossible. Also £21 is cheaper than paying Apple retail
I'm still sticking to my guns that when I get a Soft White / Pebble it will come with an S3 white ceramic Watch. Also why I'm not looking for a separate charger yoink, much as I want to.
Jel of coastal gray. Khaki looks good, is it a band that shows shine. With the one coming I hope not. Is there anyway to remove shine with a magic eraser or something?
I have lavender grey on now actually
I haven't worn my Khaki a lot since buying it when it launched, but I don't think it has the feel of a band that will shine up especially.
You and me both, my friend. It a conversation I have with myself every day while checking my saved listings on eBay to see if any of the Ceramic versions are still available.
What was original retail $ on the S5 ceramic models?
Like $1,200-$1,400 depending on specific models I think.
Depends where you are. I think Mr Dop is right and that they were $1,349 for 40mm in the US with a second Sport Band (they all came with 2 bands, but you could choose what the second was and obviously pay more if you went with anything that retailed for more than $49). I forget the uplift to 44mm - it's NZ49 here for "regular" models for was it $29 in the US? They were £1,349 for the 40mm with Sport Band in the UK as it went £ for $. Looking at the original receipt for mine, which is 44mm and came with a second (white!?) Sport Band cost €1,449 in Germany. In Australia they started at A$1,999 for 40mm with Sport Band.
A fair bit of variation when taking them all back to US$, with the other countries carrying varying level of premium (though sales tax is included in all the other country prices I believe).
Sorry I know this is off topic slightly but I just took a gamble on this on Amazon, for £389!
No idea what’s going to turn up as the photo isn’t of a ceramic although description is correct. It says in the description that Amazon Renewed stuff might not come with original packaging or accessories...so the correct band may not be with it (that’s my way of keeping this post on topic, ha!)
I’ll just hope it’s an open box deal of the century with correct band etc rather than an abused one...!

Fingers crossed for you. I assume you can return it if it isn't truly ceramic?
If it is ceramic, you know none of your bands will go with it though, right?
