1. Water resistance since it rains alot where I live.
2. Space black option to subdue the rear lines.
3. Nomore physical home button that wears out.
4. The 32gb should be the base model.
5. Metal rear over anything glass.

1. Agreed, I'd love to see a water resistant iPhone.
2. Meh, I use a case and wouldn't see it anyway.
3. Disagree, the home button was the thing I missed the most when I got an HTC One (M7).
4. Agreed, the iPhone SE is the less expensive entry.
5. Meh, I really liked the iPhone 4/4s but again I use a case on my iPhone so it doesn't really matter to me.

I agree that some will say it, but I believe a good amount of people will not upgrade if they do take out that jack.

I for one won't, even if the phone feeds me pizza I can't justify spending money on a product that I think has made a completely anti-consumer move.

since the iPhone keeps getting more expensive in Europe I am gonna skip this one for sure. I just can't justify spending over 850€ on a minor update. it's not even about specs but iOS 10 just doesn't offer anything to update from an iPhone 6.

phone updates are becoming as pointless as an iPad refresh every year imo. no need to update unless u want to show off the latest
Completely agree with the increases in prices in Europe.
I only foresee it getting worse here in the UK because of this crazy weak £.

The answer to the perfect display size may be the 4.7" w/reduced bezels and no home button.

Will that be in the the 2017 model? Let's hope so.
That would make the plus size very perfect.

The Nexus 6 and iPhone 6s Plus have the same dimensions, but the Nexus has and extra .5" of screen real estate thanks to small bezels. Apple needs to do something like this!

Other than cosmetics, I'm not sure what features people were expecting that would've been reasonable. Really not seeing anything in this thread that would justify calling the 2016 release a flop.

I am reserving my final opinion until it's actually officially disclosed. However, if it is close to current spec, less a headphone jack, it really is worth it to me to update to a 6s on discount, assuming I can get one.

Up until date, rumors and predictions for the iPhone 7 have been an horrible joke, and even the WSJ is bitting it!

I just wish It would be possible to bet on things like "will Apple remove the headphone jack?". Some people could win a lot of money.

The headphone jack rumor just started because Apple registered a "AirPod" name back on January, and some very intelligent person suggested that Apple was bundling Bluetooth earpieces and remove the jack.

And that antenna line design has just evolved from a fake leak which was just a Chinese phone from Meizu:

Minus the colors we've seen the finished exterior of the phone. What's under the hood of the top tier model is what will be the determining factor. Apple always makes sure they add something that's almost a reasonable reason to possibly upgrade.

ill be out of contract so absolutely getting the 7. Ill worry about how i get the 8 when it comes out.

Oh yes I remember a lot of people saying the iPhone 6 was butt ugly from the leaks. The leaks were correct and the 6 became the best selling iPhone.

I cant wait for the Bender looking iPhone 7 Plus.

Sold my 6S Plus and I now have an HTC 10. 5.2 inch with separate audio DAC plus Apple AirPlay built in. Perfect size....for me.

I'm on the fence since I have a 6s Plus on Next. On the one hand, I'm already paying the monthly payment, but on the other, what are they really going to bring to the iPhone 7 to justify the switch.

As I said, undecided.

I wanted to upgrade but based on the current rumored specs I will probably skip this one and upgrade on the next cycle based on that set of rumors. I had a 6. Then got the 6s+ which I have now. I was going to pass the 6s+ to my wife, the 6 to one of my kids, and then the 7 for me but will just wait for the rumored curved display hopefully with oled.

There seems to be a general "I already have the specs in my head" train of thought. Better processor, gpu, better camera, no headphone jack...not worth the upgrade. I'm thinking Apple has a few surprises and I hope I am right.

That's funny. Everything you listed is exactly why it's worth an upgrade (to me). I upgrade every year, and even if the only changes were the ones listed here, I'd be happy to upgrade.

Except the headphone jack thing. That's such a non-issue for me, I don't know why anyone cares one way or the other on it.

Would I want it? Yes. Who doesn't want a shiny new, better then ever toy. Am I willing to spend 900+ on a device that's much like the model from 2 years ago? Hell no. So I'm skipping.

I've skipped the 3GS and 4 (antenna gate). Then I skipped the 5 (was still on a two-year contract) and the 5S (rumors of a bigger phone the next year). I've skipped the 6s and am willing to skip the 7

I'm skipping this one. 100% certain.

I went from the 6 to the 6s because the 6 was lacking in a number of areas. The 6s is not lacking in any areas as far as I'm concerned. And because of its own solid build and flawless performance, it will continue on at least another year.

It's certainly not lacking in the amount of bezels it has ;)

Hope the 7 does have. Dark space grey model.

Duel camera interests me no matter how ugly it appears it will be

Wow !!!!

I'm really impressed, how long did it take you to ask everyone? I mean that's quite a task. Apple won't need to tool up or open the assembly plants.

Bet you $20 that you missed at least one person. We will see in September when that person buy the only iPhone 7.
