I'm through to the 2nd processing info page after choosing the phone for the 5th time. It will error on me again.

I really hate this, and that there's rumors it's sold out. I'm about to go ballistic.

I've been working at this for 8 hours. You'd think something would happen. It keeps telling me to make a reservation. Which I'm not doing.
 
Keep trying guys, orders are going through. I started trying to order at 4:30 AM EST this morning and have been trying throughout the day. I finally got my order to go through on apple.com for a black 32GB with home delivery. Good luck.
 
This is as far as I have gotten. After I tried to add it to cart, it timed out. I even checked to see if it was in the cart, and it wasn't.
 
Are those that are getting their orders in, upgrading or new service? It still seems to be the AT&T servers. I've gotten as far as review order and then hit continue and straight to session timeout.
 
I guarantee you this is AT&T's slow servers fault. I just ordered 2 bumper cases and it the site didnt flinch once. from beginning to end of order in about 2 minutes.
 
I'm trying to upgrade.
I actually have 2 to upgrade, I'd be happy with one at this point.....
 
This is really starting to anger me. 10 hours in and still nothing. I'm not even trying to do multiple orders, just upgrade my ONE phone WTF!!!

finally went through... got the spinning wheel in my shopping cart for about 15 minutes, i just hit shift refresh and the shopping cart finally reloaded with the phone in it. order went through from there...

what a cluster *** that was

my first attempt was at 6am, i prob spent the better part of 3 hours over the past 12 (almost exactly) to get it to go through...

Mine was an early upgrade to an existing line at the $499 price.

Make sure to check your cart, when mine finally went through and took me to my cart there were 3 iphones in there. Apparently even though it was throwing an error, it was still adding them to the cart.
 
MAN! i keep getting to the final screen but it doesn't give me the option to deliver it! should i keep trying?
 
Still trying and nothing..Keeping getting to the last screen, but its still not giving me the option to mail. It has once all day given me that option and I cliked add to cart and it failed
 
Still can't get my wife's phone into the cart with my phone. Ugh! This is infuriating.

Apple and AT&T need to call in Dr. Stephen Falken. If he can design the WOPR, surely he can straighten out this mess. Perhaps a nice game of tic-tac-toe.
 
I got through but the closest place to reserve is 4 hours away.

WTF doesn't it give us another option besides reserving like SHIPPING?! :mad:


ETA: Nevermind I think it's that glitch.
 
This is about as aggravating as it gets. Can't believe we're all dealing with this in order to PAY for something. AT&T just keep inventing new ways to suck.

Best part was when I was on the phone with customer service and the call dropped.

Nope your order did not go through.

I had the same issue before twice. If you opt for store pick up the next screen will prompt you to enter your apple id and password to verify.

What I do see a problem now is that many like yourself will get this screen and think its ok to show up on the 24th to pick up their phone to find out it never went through.

BTW it seems that now in Applestore that they are just bypassing ATT and will give you a price of $699 for the phone. I am sure its because ATT can't keep up with the verification process.
