I thought I saw somewhere the 12 and 12 Pro have LG OLED panels, and the 12 mini and 12 pro max has Samsung OLED panels.

The display is even warmer than the 11 Pro?! Those were already way warmer than the ones from the years before. Is it just plain yellow now? LOL

No one cares. 5G is going to be a thing in 3 years the earliest, until then its just marketing. Also, this Qualcomm chip inside is a powerhog. I'll wait this out as there is no point getting 5G now.

Depends on where you live; wrt. contry/city. In my city two networks already have full 5G coverage on 2.5GHz or 3.5GHz and a third is almost there. Now, the main use case for 5G is to resolve congestion and that hasn't been a really big problem here yet, only in a few spots, but I suspect it would have been soon if not for 5G being ready ahead of time.

I'll wait it out as well but only because my phone is an XS and apart from being a bit heavy it really wouldn't give me much of a different experience upgrading yet.

I’m still on the fence on whether I’ll get a blue or black mini. The blue looks really great in reviewer’s pictures and videos, but I keep getting the feeling that black will be better in a case.

Blue in a black case or black in a blue case...
I'm gonna do blue in a black case :)

Looks like the 12 is not much an upgrade over the 11. Will see what happens in the next few years.

That Pacific Blue color is amazing looking. Can't wait to order my iPhone 12 Pro Max 128GB in Pacific Blue.
I had the exact opposite feeling about the 12 Pro Pacific Blue. It looks so average now the blue on the 12 looks pretty solid.

Pacific Blue remains absolutely stunning!

Uh oh, warmer displays... here we go...

Personally, I don’t think I will mind a warmer display (in reason). With increased time in front of monitors, I’ve purchased blue light blockers to avoid eye strain. Yes, I get up and walk around and look away. It’s still a cumulative affect over time.

I’m gonna do graphite in a blue case.

Hmm... choices, choices, choices. ;)

This gets stated every year but a few things. One, Apple isn’t making you buy a new iPhone, they will be ok regardless. Second, Apple isn’t really at the point where they are designing new iPhones to try and get people to upgrade from last years model. Apple knows it’s a software and services game. They release a new iPhone every year, that way when it’s your time to buy a new one, that way you get the best one they have at that time. Tis the season for people having to justify why they’re not upgrading lol

I wish I had pre-ordered a 12, so I could get it tomorrow and then post about how the Pro Max is an “easy pass” in three weeks. :p

It doesn't sound like anyone who has received their new iPhone 12 Pro has ANY High-Perf Apps to test out.

Both new "Pro" models have ~5.6 GB of DRAM !

That should make a BIG difference with certain apps !
