Hi guys,
I got my iPhone 4 last week so can only comment on certain aspects. Perviously I was carrying an iPod touch and a Blackberry Storm around with me and wanted something to replace the two of them.
Firstly, the look and feel in general are pretty good. It's nice to use and looks great. Other than the smaller storage it is an improvement over the Touch and I can live without having every song in the world at my disposal.
The camera is good and on a par with an old Nokia N95 or something like that. Not exactly ground breaking but 'acceptable'. So far I cant see the point in facetime at all! Wifi only so why wouldn't I just use my MacBook Pro and skype and be able to talk to anyone in the world with a computer??? Video calling is not exactly a 'new technology' so why apple have made such a huge fuss about it is beyond me.
As a phone it is fine (the antenna problem is evident but to be honest wasn't a real problem. Since fitting a case which I would have done anyway it seems to be cured) and fairly easy to use.
I use the phone for business and it has to be said, compared to the Blackberry it doesn't fair too well. Email on the blackberry is far superior and BB messenger is a great tool that I'm already missing (maybe there is an app for that??). I do like the layout of the SMS/MMS on the iPhone and find it very easy to use. But why, oh why are we restricted to a few crappy tones?!?!?! You can't use music stored on the phone as a ringtone like you can with the BB but it's pretty easy to make your own ringtones so why not the same for messages???
The apps obviously blow everything else out of the water!
Another thing, Apples adds claiming that their 'new features' will change everything annoy me. Video calling didn't take off when nokia (I think they were the first in Europe) introduced it around 6 years ago or when the Japanese got it years before that so why should Facetime. A 5mp camera is great, but the competition are releasing phones with almost three times that!
In summary, if you're looking for something to wave in the pub that'll make you look cool, that looks and feels great and that will keep you entertained for years to come then you
need the iPhone 4. As a business phone however, I've found it to be somewhat lacking.
Reading the above back, it sounds a bit negative but remember, I still have the Blackberry and haven't swapped back to it so I can't be that unhappy!

A few minor annoyances aside, I love it!
