Love it
The main reason I upgraded was for the LED flash and considered everything else extra.
The LED flash is great...it is very bright it also seems to turn on to help the phone focus on the spot you have selected and then snaps the pic (although I have no verified that).
Camera seems much better but still wouldn't completely replace a point and shoot, but this camera is still great since it is most likely always on you. The images look great on the phone it is only when you export them to a monitor and look at actual size that you sort of see some of the faults.
The front facing camera is cool for moments where you want to take a picture of yourself and somebody else which was a task with the previous iPhones.
Have not tried face time as I don't know anyone else with an iphone 4 yet.
Biggest surprise...which maybe should have been was the screen. The screen is absolutely amazing, especially if the apps have been upgraded for the retina displays native resolution. If you fun an app like Facebook you the text looks amazing, but you can still tell that the images for the icons were up-resed for the display. As apps take advantage of new resolution it is going to get better and better. I hope the phone has enough horse power to run games in the native resolution.
Construction of the device is solid I think that's contributed to the glass front and back and steel sides.. I don't miss the rocker at all as these buttons feel sturdy. Vibrate switch also seems more sturdy, and doesn't have as much play as my previous iPhone. The home button is much more 'clicky' than my previous iPhone which I never had problems with before, but is definitely nice since people will probably double click more due to multi-tasking. The shape of the device feels more traditional and fits well in your hand. Seems easier to hold on too.
All in all, I am very happy with the upgrade!
