Please learn to make coherent sentences before you post and also inform yourself too. Samsung had lines for the galaxy nexus granted they weren't as big but there were lines. Apple isn't te only company to have these social trends. Go look up the Motorola Razr.
 
whether people got paid for doing this or not, they all seem already apple's slavers. they don't even realize themselves. I mean that they are all dumn****ers. so stupid.

Yup, in the UK if you purchase from Apple it'll be unlocked.
 
getting mine on a job discount for 530€ and sold it to some impatient idiot for 870€ on eBay :D gotta love apple resell value and its crazy fanboys
 
For every single other iPhone I used to go to the 5th ave Apple store and make the line. It was fun but tiring and I can't this time due to work.

This time around I went the online pre-order way. I hope I get it on Friday like I'm supposed to. I've gotten every other iPhone the day it launched.

So you see, wealthy people don't wait online like morons, as you suggest. they have people on payroll, like myself, who will fetch what they need. Wealthy people are too busy cheating on their wives and making more money to be standing online. Something you know nothing about.

The cool thing is I always get toys for free :) I owned every ipad, galaxy tab, and every shinny apple and premium android phone there is. and I charged it all to the company's AmEx. i have 4 phones on my desk right now, lol

I've waited in line before and have plenty of money to pay someone to do it for me, I preorder most of the time! but have done the line thing for an iPad & iPhone and it's actually a lot of fun! We've even had BBQ's going, lot of good food and meet a lot of new people that I have become friends with.

Just for fun one of the next launches I want to fly to NYC just to wait in line at the 5th Ave. store or Grand Central Station Apple store. I live in So.Cal and my wife's from Manhattan so we do go there once or twice a yr. I love NYC and I've always wanted to go for an Apple launch and wait in line there. I'm sure it's a lot of fun there too!

Shouldn't the 15 year old be in school "#6: Jackie Lin, 15"? Where are truant officers when you need em? Hell, where are his parents? They should be getting him out of that line and into school or at least be charged for not taking care of their minor child.

No surprise this phone is breaking sales records...it's the first iPhone in years that will allow all the crazy early adopters their instant "how cool am I" status on appearance alone due to the new style of phone.
Me? Happily pre-ordered online and will have it delivered to my doorstep.
 
Read the article, folks. And then quit being so damn sanctimonious and judgmental. While I have never waited in one of these lines and never want to, I could see it being a fun experience for some.

Two of the people in the first 6 did this last year as well, and by the way, both are employed. You can check out their bog at iphonewhatever.com - entertaining reading.

What's strange is that it says the origin is Nashville....

Just curious: did you wait for 4-5 days or did you arrive in line early the release day?

I see where arriving early (late previous day) could be fun... But 4-5 days... not my cup of tea personally.

Yes, and maybe you will lose it some day. By the way, wealthy people don't have it necessary to wait in line for a telephone, they either have someone to do that for them or simply get it delivered to wherever they want to have it. And they don't need a mass market lifestyle product as a status symbol.

Waiting in line in front of an Apple store has more to do with Scientology and/or idiocy than it has to do with wealth or a great product.

So now there are going to be 3rd party sales people in line to haggle you to buy there products/accessories while you wait for your iPhone. Great...:rolleyes:
 
I too have the exact same thing. 2 packages with the same tracking info and I also ordered a white 32 gig att upgrade from apple
