Five New MacBook Configurations for Tues, May 15th?

I am a disgruntled Windows user and have been waiting for either MacBook Pros to get updated so I can free myself from the constant fixing I have to do in order to have a running computer. Here is to hoping the Pros get updated tomorrow!
I think my source may have been relaying information to make it sound more interesting (or explain why he can't peak)
Maybe there is a security camera in the back area that always watches the rear exit, and thus the boxes (no matter what they are) or under watch.
He did also mention that only inventory mgr and store manager know what is in these boxes when they arrive. I had to pretty much pry it out of him, but he made sure to stress that this black box thing is common at this store - and has been boring stuff in the past.
Yes, at this confirms he uses a Mac.
Not sure on the 5 configurations though? Could be some additional colours, could be 3 screen sizes with the a couple of processor choices, could be a 'slim' laptop, could be a 'tablet', could be anything.
I can't wait (not that I am in the market for a new laptop though)

With a lowercase 'g', it's a god more likely to be demanding sacrifices and such, whereas with a capital 'G', God is the one that tends to dole out signs.
The point is moot though. If you are looking for divine intervention to determine your technology purchases, we've got a much bigger issue at hand.
aww man this is great! if this is true it would be perfect b/c I just told my friend to hold off on getting his college comp until at least June 11 b/c of stuff like this! fingers, toes, and anything else I can cross will be crossed in my sleep tonight! ooo this is gonna be good if it comes out! a 15" macbook would be PERFECT!

Yeah, same here. God, I've been waiting for new MBP's since the beginning of this year. It's getting frustrating... Who knows though, with five new configs, it would seem to include the MBP. Side note: the fact that people think the MB will come in five colors is just absurd. That is not happening.
Just watch... tomorrow will come and go and nothing will happen

You will be amazed at the stability of the OS and computers once you make the switch (he says as he types on a near-three year old PowerBook that has crashed maybe yearly at most, with a working Apple II+ and about 10 other working Macs in the house - much to my wife's annoyance these computers just don't die!).
I wouldn't be the least bit surprised. We've got 1 17" MBP left and 2 of the $1299 Macbooks left and that's it. Seemed a bit suspicious to me.
It doesn't seem right that a MacBook release would come before a MacBook Pro release, as the Pro models would then be underpowered.
I reckon Apple wants to use Penryn/ Santa-Rosa in the Pro laptops and stick with Merom/ Santa-Rosa in the consumer versions, however Penryn is still a way off... so will they take a risk and under-power the Pro versions till October ?
They also need to start spreading out updates, as it is now, everything is going to be updated at the same time:

New 13" MacBook white (spec boost, Santa Rosa, still integrated graphics but better than before)
New 13" MacBook black (higher model, better specs)
TWO new 15" MacBook Pros (with LED screens; two spec levels)
New 17" MacBook Pro (no LED)
That plus BTO would seem to cover the line.
I'd love to see a subnotebook (aka 13" MacBook Pro with LED screen, flash boot drive, and what the heck... 3G wireless!) but I'm not holding my breath. Yet.

Dear Steve, let them have a 512MB GPU option. Please. And for less than $200 as an upgrade option from 256MB (is that reasonable? I don't know much about pricing on notebook GPU's).
No way 15" MB
No way a 15", it would destroy MBP sales, they are already very close in spec. Everyone is complaing the MB is too big and wants a 12" MB, the MBP is for those that want 15", but MAYBE a 15" if the MBP then gets significantly bumped in a SantaRosa upgrade next week.
