If it's shipped the same way the rest have thus far (the quicker shipment method, even if you paid for the standard, slower method), it should arrive within 2-4 days.

Thanks for that reply. I have another question. Are the ones that have not yet shipped but are prepared for shipment week 38 or 37?
(sorry if this has already been answered)
 
Any touches at Yorkdale or Eaton Center? (Don't say just call, i can't right now)
 
@bezdaniel: When your iPod touch ships, you can view the invoice by clicking on the "Print Invoice" link on the order page. Here you can view the serial number of your new iPod :)
 
Has anyone had their status on FedEx change from 'clearance in progress'? I called FedEx and said if it was still due tomorrow but it's making me a bit nervous. Does the broker they use work 24hrs?

The web site says prepared for shipment it has been like that since this morning when will it change to shipped?

Most likely tomorrow but I wouldn't be surprised if it takes up to 48 hours from the time it shows prepared to shipment until it actually ships.
 
I finally bit the bullet and got a 16gig at the Apple Store Eaton Centre.

The serial is 38 and Coreen Bailey Rae on the box. Synching it at the moment.

I gotta tell you, this thing is beautiful.

Touches are available at Yorkdale...They had a bunch.....i picked one up today, and cancelled my online order

This is really making me upset. I ordered an iMac on Sept 12, and apple said it shipped on the 18th, but it actually did on the 21st. Now it's been in Mississauga since Saturday and it doesn't even say anything about clearance, just "at dest sort facility"... How long does it take for a computer to pass customs and go 90km to St.Catharines?! BTW, mine is a W311. I think I'm among the most impatient people in the world.

Yeah man, your very impatient. Mine hasn't even shipped yet, with an order number of W310...

But i'm worried because if my iPod touch is not leaving mississauga tonight i probably won't get it tommorrow. The status hasn't changed all day :(

Yup, I'm in the same boat as you too. Hopefully it makes it's way to the local delivery place overnight and is delivered tomorrow. Hopefully... :cool:
 
^ Make that four as my iPod Touch has been in Mississauga, ON undergoing "Clearance" since 4:37AM this morning. I really hope it ships out early tomorrow as Winnipeg is a long drive away.

Must be sittng there with mine. In Clearance since 4:30 AM.

I pulled it up with iShip (http://www.iship.com/trackit/track.asp), and it says this:

09/24/2007 04:30 Regulatory Agency Clearance Delay MISSISSAUGA, ON CA

Not sure what it means, I just hope they sort their delay out soon. :rolleyes:
 
Bad news?

This does not look good; it seems like my iPod touch went back to Memphis last night, from Mississauga - problem at Customs?: :confused:

I was all excited to wake up and check to see whether the iPod made it to my home city, and I have to say finding this was a bit of a disappointment... :confused:

Yes, with a bit of luck, we may get it by XMas! Unless our dedicated Customs officials found out that the Chinese used lead paint on those iPod touch! :eek:

Doesn't it say in the tracking website when the estimated delivery will be for you guys? My status says "Clearance in Progress" since yesterday morning but my estimated delivery date remains unchange: September 26. I am not worried at all; so far FedEx has been on the money when it comes to estimated time of delivery for my orders.
