WTF!!! come on.... mine is also in Memphis again. I'm in montreal too so why did mine went back to the U.S. :mad:

Anyone knows if it's real or a mistake ? I can't understand why these ipods went from China to the U.S in only 2 days and now it will take 3 more days to get them here... My delivery date has always been Sep 26, 2007 by 12:00 PM but i was hoping to get it today as it was in Canada yesterday.

my estimated delivery date is still Sep 26, 2007 by 6:00 PM
 
Do you actually think they're back in Memphis or just on like one side of the warehouse? would they go through all that effort to ship them back to Memphis?
 
FYI, just an update on my iPod from Sherway Gardens....

I got a 16GB (week 38) with the Macy Gray box. It looks and works beautifully. The screen is fantastic, sharp and clear. No "reverse black" problem to be found, and not a single dead pixel.

It talks to iTunes fine and I filled up up last night in very reasonable time (some people were reporting it syncs slowly).

I'll be running it a lot today but so far... very sharp! I'm thoroughly impressed with this thing.

Yes it did ship at the same time. What is your delivery estimate??

I don't know. Mine went from Mississauga to Memphis then back to Mississauga where it has been stuck since 1am.
 
I really feel bad for the guys with Touch's returned to Memphis. Mine says it is already at the Fedex Station here in Toronto, ready for delivery...hopefully this morning.

I bit the bullet yesterday and bought a 16gig one at Eaton Centre (ordered the 8gig online). This thing is beautiful!!! But one thing, I have several very faint dead pixels.:mad: I am hoping to exchange it today for a good one.

BTW, mine's a week 38 with no negative effects...except for those damn dead pixels!!!

Good luck again guys.
 
Mine went back to Memphis last night (probably just the paperwork) but came back to Mississauga...then to Don Mills and is now showing:

ON FEDEX TRUCK FOR DELIVERY

Should show up this morning.

Mine did the weird trip back to Memphis thing too, apparently, though it went from Memphis to Windsor, not back to Mississauga :) Now it's in Windsor, so hopefully it ends up on a truck and at my door sometime today :)
 
Mine also apparently went back to Memphis, TN but is now in Winnipeg!

My tracking status shows that mine is now at the local facility here in Calgary, 7:18 AM, after clearance in Mississauga. My estimated delivery still shows by September 26, 12:00 PM, but my earlier confirmation mail did say an estimated delivery by today, the 25th. I'll check my tracking status again later if there would be a chance it would be delivered by today.

Patience has it's virtues:).

EDIT: I just got it!! The FedEX truck just dropped it off two minutes ago.

It has a 1A737... Serial Code BUT Macy Gray is on the cover, so I'm not sure what to think.

Sadly I'm off to school so I can't play with it until I get back.
 
Success! It showed up around 10:30 this morning. Mine did the trip back to Memphis but was still in Ottawa by 6:00AM. Weird, but I guess it didn't slow things down any.
 
Fedex just showed up at my house in Toronto with my mine!!!!

The box is tiny. Very cool.

BTW why are we getting week 37's still? isn't that weird? Would have made more sense to be getting 38s is they were packed like 2 weeks later than the orders that have already been sent out. Doesn't seem like they packed all these boxes then sat around and wondered how long they could make us wait before shipping out the Touches.

Also, if we're getting week 37s, does that mean Apple's admission of the screen problems has been lip service only? or did they fix the 37s that hadn't been shipped yet? There was a lot of speculation about the problem being related to coating so could the have re-coated the un-shipped 37s?

where's my elephant - er, i mean iPod lol
