I can't delete my photos from my iPhone 7. I made a back up with iCloud for the 1st time and so far my understanding is if I delete them from iCloud on my PC they get removed after 30 days. No idea if this also means I can then delete them from my phone. I tried re-syncing with an empty folder using iTunes and that worked. But as soon as I re-sync with iTunes and put my photos back onto my phone, they are 100% un-deletable. My point is, I want to be able to delete photos at will from my phone from within the photos app, which I can't do at the moment. WTF Apple. With Android it is simple. I keep and delete what I want whenever I want. I have nothing incriminating on my phone, lol, it is just a real pain that I encountered for the 1st time this past week backing up my phone.
Also having Exchange issues. I constantly need to re-enter my password to get my Exchange account to work with the native mail and calendar apps. It has severely messed up my calendar on my phone, some appointments sync and others don't. Each time I re-enter my password the process crashes to a black screen and then back to home screen. Using the Outlook app somewhat resolves this. Again, giant pain in the butt. Using 11.0.1.
Also had the earpiece clicking issue on my 8+ which I returned last week.
Pixel phones and LG V30 can't get here soon enough. Every time I try Android I always come back to Apple. But last year with the Pixel, Google almost nailed it. Now that Waze works with Android Auto (Google maps by default) this year may finally be the year I stick with Android for more than a few months. Who am I kidding...I will end up back with an 8+ sooner or later...🙁
