I'm becomine more and more convinced that this is the look of the iPhone 8.... but I'm also becoming increasingly convinved that the 7S does not exist. I simply do not believe Apple will split the iPhone line into three; 7S/7S+/8

The iPhone line is already split into 3... iPhone SE, 6 Series and 7 Series.

People WILL buy the most expensive phone. Especially because Apple has their own financing options, at least in be U.S.

Some people are going to be like "damn the iPhone Pro is a lot of money, but it does have a lot of cool features" they'll want the latest and greatest.

For some reason, I have never really noticed it on my 7 Plus. I actually like the look of it, but's been a non issue to me.

Most things that people are complaining about are a non issue. People are up in arms about the design, yet they wear a case. People are up in arms about the "notch" at the top.

Come launch day the same people are gonna buy it anyway because of what it DOES.

Agreed. And people cry and moan that "Apple has lost its design sense and these new designs are horrible..." But, what would be a pleasing design to these people? Square-er corners? Round phone? Foldable? There's only so far a rectangle can go. In real life, the notch is going to be so tiny and almost invisible.

While the dummy looks close to what actual iPhone may look like but that top notch looks ugly with white front, Atleast it should be black so it blend in with display better.
I wish it could be made of some sort of transparent material so that it would be blackish when the phone is off, but whitish when the phone was on.

its looks like iPhone 4 + iPhone 6(7) merged.

Interestingly I find it takes cues from multiple models!

Shiny stainless steel bezel from iPhone, iPhone 3G and3GS
Glass back that looks exactly like 4/4s
Shape of 6/6s/7
Camera similar 7 Plus

I love this new design!
I'm just praying all models will have a black front panel! The shiny "retro" stainless steel bezel looks amazing on the white model, and would definitely be the one I would choose if it comes with a black front panel.

Definitely. If the notch is white/silver, I think that is a valid annoyance that will bother plenty of people over time. Enough to not buy the phone? I doubt it.

But the notch itself or camera protrusion? I can't imagine anyone finds those things determinative.

So dated looking, all other phones will soon be fully edge to edge, Samsung dose edge to edge to the side but still bezel at the top and bottom, Apple and the new rumoured iPhone 8 still has bezel top bottom left and right they are so yesterday designs

If we are taking guesses on the phone, I much more prefer this mock-up if they are targeting millennials :).

Looks ugly with white front /Black front looks better. i wish Apple bring a black front in all models.

All of these are HIDEOUS! Steve Jobs is dying a second death! Not to mention, there is NO WAY the real phone will look anything like these second rate "mockups." Again "mockups" are incredibly stupid!

If it has a black front, still ugly? I think with a black front on all of the models, it will look great. I don't see white happening. They want to accentuate the black OLED screen, not take away from it.

I think you're right the black does look much better than the white, I guess I wasn't too sure about the notch. Maybe it's just the dummy's, can't wait to see it in final production, I'm sure I will be proven wrong and it'll look fantastic.

Exactly. Apple's designs are just fine. Not perfect, but from what we've seen of the phone so far I have no complaints.

Agreed. I personally am not against the notch at all. I would hope that that doesn't play in a role in someone's decision to not buy the phone.

Not that happy about the glass back. I remember the iPhone 4. Most phones seen in the wild, had either a broken front or back. And back then, changing the shattered glass was easy. I dont expect that from the next iPhone. And I dont expect them using the most resilient Gorilla on both the front and the back. :/ Its a lottery when you drop it, will it shatter on the front or the back?

Also, will not the camera bump be changed to the color of the phone? It looks like a sore at the moment. I hope they will add a 'bump' like on the 7's and this render, taken from 9to5mac.

Saw this render earlier. Love that black model.

I still cannot believe that people are incessantly arguing over the looks of something
THAT IS NOT REAL!
UGH! Don't you people have lives? :(

Well, to be fair, you don't have to read through the forums. I would think reading through forums for something you are not interested in discussing would be even worse. Maybe you should evaluate your own time spent? Also, these are based on leaks that have been going on for a while now, the phone will 100% look like this, although it may result in no white front and with the usual Apple polish. I don't see arguments either, just opinions. And isn't that what such a site is for?

Its pretty funny that we are comparing 3 fake things to each other.

Really looking forward to September, but keeping the reality in front of me that its just a cell phone and its not a big deal.

If Steve was still alive and saw the black thing around the cameras on the white model he would probably bitch slap Tim Cook
Yeah,

But he would be wrong in this case:

Or no white bezel, or a white bezel with the camera, sensor area in black, borders in white.
In just white, it really looks terrible.

People have argued over IDEAS forever. This is no different. The idea of the iPhone and its evolvement.
Let people fantasize, dream and argue over it until their brains fall out. :D

I just hope the glass backing is more of a frosted or matte finish, along with the metal edges for grip and of course aesthetics. I also am not too sure about the odd screen cut out but I'll wait and see I guess. I think the power button will have some sort of touch ID function as a backup plan for apple in case they couldn't get their act together in time for production.

I also think they should have went with another color other than copper. Dark blue?
