It's not clear to me if you're saying that Apple changed your order to home delivery without you requesting it? You earlier asked if that was possible. If there is a mistake then you can use chat on the order page on the Apple website and discuss with Apple. I also have no idea why it would now be saying Feb 12 delivery, as you point out even orders placed today are quoting Feb 9 delivery. Do you live in a location where delivery normally takes longer?

I was on chat with Apple and they switched it to home delivery at my request but guaranteeing that the date wouldn’t change. Lo and behold, the delivery date changed to 2/12. I’m in a big area so that shouldn’t be an issue. I’m hoping that it’ll change once it ships but curious if that is even possible.

Interesting. I wonder if, because you made such a late change, it disrupted the fulfillment process and caused the delay. Still, the 9th is far enough away that you might expect they could deal with it. Good luck - you'll know once it ships, at least.

The UK AppleStore HomePod delivery dates have slipped to 13th February. Does this just reflect how long they take to ship from China or is demand starting to outstrip supply?

I don’t think they are shipping from China. Mine is being sent next day delivery in the US.

Guessing more have been ordered since last Friday. Least it’s not weeks and weeks.

Anyone’s actually changed to shipped yet?

Mine no longer says the type of delivery or when to expect it. Just preparing for shipment.

Mine showed up tonight on the UPS app as shipped today from Tennessee. Will arrive Friday by overnight shipping. But my apple status on their website still says "Preparing for shipment."

They usually always show up in the UPS app before Apple says they are shipped. I’ve had packages from Apple make it from China to Louisville before I got the email from Apple saying it had shipped.

Yes, I fully expect the Apple status won't change to "Shipped" until sometime on Thursday, just like packages I have received from Apple in the past.

Just ordered mine from Best Buy with a pick up confirmed at a local store on Friday. Seems pretty straight forward. Surprised more people are not ordering it for local pick up.

When the package is delivered to the home. It feels like an expensive gift from Apple. Lol

Guessing mine might move to dispatched by Wednesday

Mine is still on "preparing for dispatch" it would be interesting to see how many Apple have sold, especially here in the UK since the date's have slipped to 13th of February.

For in store pickup preorders in the US, did anyone else notice how stock went from pretty much available in all stores to unavailable in any store. I was watching stock for my local Apple Stores like a hawk, and I find it hard to believe that their entire in store stock magically sold out more than a week after preorders started.

Is this just Apple making supply look. More constrained? Anyone think there will be ample supply for on store pickups on Friday?
