Why not if both watches were defective. Will not cost me a penny if I need to send the third one back.

Is that OK with you?;)

Thats a different story, the way you said it was "try" so thought you sold initially because you didnt like, my assumption :).

Scratches on the screen? No
Scratches on the case? Yes, a mark that looks like a paint spot
What model do you have? SW SG
Damages to the band? Normal wear marks, but that's understandable
What band do you have? BSB
What is you typical day like? Office job
Was any of your damaged caused by something not typical of your day? I don't know how it happened, I just spotted it recently
and finally,
Approximately how many days have has your Watch been following you around on your wrist? Since launch day

Does anyone know if there is a way to remove a spot like this. It doesn't actually look scratched or uneven at all. It looks somehow like someone painted on it.

A tip. Well more of a warning actually!!

Anyone with a SS case. Do not under any circumstances put a protective case on your watch!
It will do the opposite of what it is intended to do!
I have a 42" SS with brown leather loop. And bought a black sports band and 'Orzly' flexicase. To wear when working out etc.
The other day I took the case off to change back to loop. And was shocked to see scratches, some pretty bad,all over the case, caused by tiny bits of grit or whatever getting trapped between case and watch!
The case is now in the bin. And luckily managed to buff scratches out using some 'Cape Cod' polishing cloths.
They maybe ok for people wanting to leave case on. But for those wanting to remove now and again, don't even think about buying one!!

minor marks from what i must assume is the Milanese loop, been trying to prevent it but, it happens. Won't bother polishing it out for now.

Yep i agree with that. Those cases will do more damage than good.

I'm about 25 days in with my 42 SS and everything is fine. I have a micro ding on the case, so small that I have to really search for it. I'm sure a tiny amount of polishing would buff it out... but it's practically invisible.

I was a long time watch wearer for many years, but this is my first in about a decade. I'm happy with how quickly I've gotten used to wearing one again. I've been pretty successful at avoiding sticking my watch hand into dangerous environments.

They must occur when you are taking the watch off or putting it on

Yeah, i'm sure it's from the band touching/rubbing the watch face, mistakenly had it 'touch' yesterday. It's MINOR and will EASILY remove with polish but it's not a big deal to me.

Thanks for the tip. I own that case and it's really good on the sport. I'm getting the SS soon so won't use it.

Has anyone tried any of those skins/decals on the SS watch?

3 Week Old "Daily Driver" Stainless Steel

Everything is fine. Only thing that looks worn is the sportband that came with it.

Sapphire Crystal Display Damage...

No option in the poll for damage to the sapphire screen, but I have some. A small dot, no bigger than the tip of a pin is chipped of my display (actually just as it curves into the bezel). I casts a shadow and appears to be 2 dots, but when I scratch with a fingernail I only feel one 'divot'.

Not sure if I can take it back to Apple or if this is considered normal wear. I did drop the watch once, and have a small scuff on the SS surrounding the screen, but I'm not sure the 2 are related.

I bought Apple Care+ so I'll probably pay the $80 to have it replaced anyway, but ALERT to anyone with a SAPPHIRE SCREEN; they can be damaged beyond just 'cracking'.

Whack! I just flat out clobbered my SS against a iron railing last night, blammo. I hit it hard. Kinda snagged it even, yanked it up my arm. Wearing the Milanese, no less. Part of me died.

I'm so happy to say the watch and band suffered zero damage as far as I can tell. There are a couple of marks on the case, only visible in just the right light, that might be scratches. I can't feel them. I've forgotten them, I imagine a swipe or two with a polishing cloth would eliminate them.

Super impressed with the SS.

I've had SG BSB for 1 month. The sport band seems to have play at the attachment. I went to  store and friends another band and that was worse.  tech said if it gets worse to come in and we can send watch back to . Great. Not sure I agree that's the fix.

I've had a Space Gray Sport for a few weeks. I have a small scratch on the screen and a very small one on the case. The one on the screen is only noticeable if you actively look for it. Most people probably wouldn't see it. Also, can't see it if the screen is on. If there is a smudge on the screen (which there usually is) so you can't really see it. I won't even attempt to photograph that.

The one on the case is more noticible even though it's fairly small. What do you guys think of it?

It could have been phrased more clearly, but "Stainless Steel and Gold Screen" in the poll = damage to the sapphire screen.

I have 32mm sport. Going to apple today for an exchange (day 12) as the bottom strap will no longer lock in. I looked down and saw the band slid over to the left. I've tried removing it and reattaching it but the locking mechanism does not work. Don't want to lose this bad boy!

The main issue with my 42mm SS model is the slight rattle, and looseness on the side button (not the crown).

I'm disappointed, but the button works as it is supposed to.. and i have apple care plus so i have peace of mind.

I have this too. Think it's a problem?

SS case here, have a very minor scuff/scratch that you really have to search for. Wish Apple would've used 904L SS, but I guess I'll just have to polish my watch every year or so.

So far so good. I accidentally brushed a spot of very indelible ink with the band. My band is white and the ink is vibrant blue. Used Mr. Clean White Eraser on it and now it's as good as new. No dings or scratches on the aluminum case or watch face. The only kind of damage was from the white eraser, it made the finish on the band less matte and shinier (it is an abrasive) but that is a small price to pay for a clean band. Otherwise, I take the band off and use Dawn dishwashing liquid to clean it and it's spanking white still.

42mm SG, one month on, very small mark where the screen meets the case. looks like a small speck of dust (which I thought it was). no idea how I got it as both the glass and the case near it are in perfect condition.
