I have a 42mm SS that I've been wearing everyday for about 3 weeks. The screen is still immaculate. I dropped it outside of my office in the parking lot after about a week and to be honest, expected the damage to be a lot worse to the SS. Two dings that are barely noticeable and no scratches!

Both the black sport band and leather loop are holding up fine.

Scratches on the screen? No

Scratches on the case? No

What model do you have? 42 mm Sport

Damages to the band? None

What band do you have? Blue polywhaterver

What is you typical day like? Put it on in the morning, wear it, take it off when I go to bed. I'm retired, I don't have a 'typical' day.

Was any of your damaged caused by something not typical of your day? No damage.

14 days

Unfortunately, somehow I acquired a small scuff on my 42mm Space Grey Sport. Don't recall hitting anything. Disappointing, seems that Apple can never create a product with a little bit stronger scratch or scuff resistance.

Is there any way to fix this?
i dont see the scuff?

Thanks for your comments about the sport. I'm gonna exchange it for the SS model, because I'm constantly worried about the scratches!

What's worrying me is the lack of IP67 certification, sure it's waterproof, but it's not dust proof. Should I be worried everything I blow into the mic to get rid of dust or debris? I don't want to run my watch under water each time i want to clean it...

Actually, does anyone know how does IPx7 work with regarding to dust? Am I over reacting to blowing my own breath into the apple watch to clear dust, or would that actually damage it due to a lack of certification?

No damage at all. In fact, Saturday my sister started to back up her car and it was still behind her car walking to other side and she bumped me on the side I wear my watch on. Not a scratch or deny, but I've got bruises and am sore.

I know the water resistance rating was stated lower than what it actually is and several people have been doing water tests with the watch. However, over this past weekend I took it with me on a short 1hr long, 50ft dive in the Bahamas, worked fine under water and top side.

Surprised how well it's been holding up.

It's awesome to hear almost no one has he damage done to the watch. Sadly I might have to return mine and get the Stainless model. It's been 10 days exactly since I got mine and my screen already has a couple hairline scratches that are annoying. It isn't as if my fingers were like a cats tongue either. I have very soft hands specially my fingers regardless of the Sjogrens and Raynauds damage I have on them, and I've done absolutely nothing to harm the watch to already have this problem.
My question for those that have both is, which one do you think hold up better? The Stainkess or the Sports? I have SG 38mm and I'm seriously considering getting the SS as a replacement.
Anyone?
Oh and when does the return policy starts? The day it ships or the day you receive it?
Thanks!

You can see your return date on the Order page on the Apple site. I had the Sport and now I have the SS and I couldn't be happier. My Sport was faulty, returned and replaced with a SS.

The SGS is a handsome devil but I don't think you'll be disappointed with the SS in the looks department.

I was 5 days past my return date and contacted apple and they went ahead and sent me a return label. I'm pretty stoked. Can't wait for my new SS to arrive!

I have a couple of scratches on my sport screen now so will have to buy a screen protector. I really HATE protectors too!

So apple watch sport not holding up well. After 3 weeks, I noticed a slight blemish on the top of the screen that I thought was just a smudge. Nope, looks like the screen is separating and the pixels are blank. This am, the spot is bigger. Going in for a service appt with Apple this am

Stainless steel Milanese loop ... I wore mine while riding on a log flume (at an amusement park).

I definitely don't recommend doing that, but it survived! Not a scratch anywhere.

So far I believe I has the watch for about a month. 42mm Sport. No cosmetic wear anywhere!

Mine is great! Although, sometimes when I bring the watch up, the face doesn't turn on and I can't tell the time. Hopefully that will get fixed soon.

The Stainless Steel bothers me because just touching the stainless puts those micro scratches that you can see under certain light.

The aluminum on the sport looks better, longer as long as you don't actually bang it against something, then it can damage either, but doesn't suffer the micro scratches from simply touching it.

I haven't seen how the Space Grey and Space Black hold up.

Stainless with Milanese is probably my favorite combination. However, again living with those micro scratches on the stainless bothers me, it always looks used.

I wish Apple had metal bands available for the sport models that used the rubber for the mounting so that you didn't risk scratching the aluminum if you wanted to use say a milanese on a sport. Of course, I realize they are pushing us towards the stainless.

It's also disappointing how the black sport band holds up compared to the other colors.

For me, it depends on the angle (which depends on what I'm doing in the moment). If I'm multitasking, and my arm is at a weird angle, it doesn't always understand when I'm trying to check the time. But it always works under normal conditions.

The Stainless Steel bothers me because just touching the stainless puts those micro scratches that you can see under certain light.

Under typical lighting conditions from a normal distance away, I don't ever see them. It's only when I look at it really close up (and I mean ridiculously close up) after polishing the heck out of it that I notice them. If I have to go through so much effort to even notice them, then it doesn't bother me so much. I won't be shooting an Apple Watch commercial with mine, so it's okay. :)

I figured it out - it's when my arm is pointing down, and I turn my wrist to check the time that the face won't turn on.
