I received my unit on October 31st so have had it almost a week. It's an incredible machine, I customised the following:

4GHz Processor
3TB Fusion Drive

Everything else standard, bought my own 16GB RAM to make 24GB.

I've decided to return the machine and upgrade to the 295X. Annoyed that there'll be another wait but I think it'll be worth it in the long run.

I'll miss it whilst it's gone.

Got it.

Ordered on October 27th for pick up, original pick up date was Nov. 17th. After it had shipped on the 31st I was told it would be available for pick up on Nov. 7th. And I picked it up as soon as it became available today Nov. 6th. So 11 days before the initial estimate, I'm happy. Hopefully I'll get to actually use it within the next day or so when I have the free time to get it home. Pretty excited. It's going to be hard to wait.

Ordered 30th and still processing.

I've refreshed the page that many times I'm surprised the site hasn't crashed.

It shouldn't be still processing, maybe something is wrong?
Ordered mine on Oct 26, shipped on 28 and got it Nov 1.

Think as more orders have gone in the longer the estimated delivery times have been, some of the early one said they were given 2 or 3 days and later orders, (incl mine) say 7 to 10 business days. There are quite a few who ordered around the same date as me who are still processing.

I guess it depends if it is a custom build or not too, mine was maxed out except the ram where I had 16gb.

Preparing for Shipment on day 10.

Ordered on October 28, finally went to "Preparing for Shipment" on day 10!

I'm in the UK and ordered online yesterday. It's currently still processing, and showing 7-10 working days for delivery with estimated arrival 25-28 November. My custom build will be:

I7 processor
3 TB Fusion
4GB graphics

Like everyone else, I'll buy two 8gb sticks from Crucial in advance of the retina's arrival to take me to 24gb which should be plenty for the immediate future. Photoshop and Capture One Pro are the just about the most demanding bits of software that I use.

I would have loved to get the 1TB SSD upgrade but just couldn't justify the purchase I'm afraid...I'm still very happy with the larger storage option offered by the fusion for my photography. I'm now investigating external backup options, will probably go for the 3GB Thunderbolt 2 option from G Technology...unless anyone has a better recommendation!

Can't wait for this thing to arrive!

I'm in the uk too and ordered on 30th and till processing...

I went for the i7, 1tb ssd, M295x and 16gb ram, I will buy the other 2 x 8gb from crucial.

I've got a WD 8TB My Book Thunderbolt Duo on it's way for ext storage ready to sit next to my WD 8TB My Cloud Mirror

I have the same iMac that you ordered - extremely satisfied so far. Amazing display, fast, no lag. I hope you're as happy when your iMac arrives.
