I Ordered My Retina iMac High End What did you get?

Ordered 10/28...shipped 11/08

Ordered on October 28...shipped November 8 via UPS Worldwide Expedited...Scheduled Delivery: November 13 by end of day to (So Cal USA):

Shanghai, China 11/08/2014 5:48 P.M. Departure Scan
11/08/2014 3:32 P.M. Origin Scan
China 11/08/2014 1:17 A.M. Order Processed: Ready for UPS

I have a 2013 Mac Pro and a 2010 Mac Pro I don't really need two Mac Pro's so I put my 2010 Mac Pro on eBay to help purchase a iMac 5K here are the spec i'm going to get

4.0GHz Quad-Core i7
16GB of ram
512GB Flash Storage
AMD M295x 4GB
Apple USB SuperDrive
Magic track pad
Apple Care

But wondering if it's a good idea to sale my old 2010 Mac Pro for a iMac 5K, Currently I just use my 2010 mac pro for gaming on windows only, will the iMac 5K can handle gaming like BF4, COD etc with no issue or should i just keep the Mac Pro, I think the longer i keep my 2010 Mac Pro the less money I will get and it's aging just need your guys opinion before I do this
 
Ordered mine last night (8/11), estimated delivery between 21/11 and 28/11.

4GHz, 3TB fusion, 8GB ram, M295X, Magic Trackpad.

I'll be upgrading my memory to 32GB via Crucial before the unit arrives, anybody in the UK want to buy the 2 4GB sticks for £50 plus recorded delivery?

Hmm, I'm UK but that shouldn't make difference I guess. Are you getting a custom build? I maxed mine out except the memory, I went for 16gb. I'll fill the 2 empty slots with 2 x 8gb when it arrives.

Yea I'm getting a custom build. Sticking with the i5 (Didn't notice much of a difference over my 2013 iMac i7 for my type of work use) 8GG, 512GB SSD and m295x.

This will be my first imac, been using a pc and macbook pro for 50/50 and decided it's time to go over to the dark side full time. Not doing anything especially resource hungry though, just wanted to future proof it. I've got it on finance so its got to see me through the three years it's going to take me to pay for it at least, preferably longer.
 
My iMac has been "Shanghaied"

Mine shipped Saturday 11/8 and has been sitting in Shanghai waiting for export clearance, I guess (UPS). I never saw the option for expedited shipping. The wait is agonizing...:(

Mine is also stuck at "export scan" since 11/8 :mad:
 
"Export Scan"...at last

Mine finally updated to "Export Scan", but too late for today's UPS flight from Shanghai to Anchorage. I'm guessing it will ship out tomorrow 11/11...I hope!

I'm in Lanark, Rab. Ordered 6/11 with estimated delivery between 25-28th November. Wonder if oor retina iMacs will make the same delivery van!

Same exact set-up here, ordered 10/31. Been in "preparing" since yesterday AM. Set 11/14-19th (Expedited). Ours are probably sitting on the same pallet somewhere .
 
2 days preparing for shipment. Weird because on my phone it says preparing for dispatch rather than shipment.

The wait is agonising, I really need to get a life!
