Ordered mine yesterday:

Core i7 4GHz CPU
8GB RAM + 32GB RAM from OWC/Macsales
1TB Flash
Radeon R9 M295X 4GB GPU

Don't expect it for 3-4 weeks. That's ok. I have an 8-core 2009 Mac Pro that works perfectly fine.

Reason for buying to replace my pro: simplification, less desk clutter, power savings, faster architecture... oh and that 5K screen thing.

My order's (ordered on Nov 5) delivery date just changed from Nov 19~24 to Dec 3~5 ...

Woke up to 'Preparing for Dispatch', hopefully this will be second time lucky. As yet nothing taken from credit card, hoping they might be waiving payment due to the delay!

My order is also preparing for shipment now. I really need this machine by next week, hopefully Apple gets it done.

Gone to "preparing for despatch" for the second time this am as well.

Fingers crossed, as tatty27 said just need that elusive "it has shipped email" needed now.

Almost exactly 8 hours after the first reports, mine has finally moved to Preparing to Dispatch too. I was getting a bit worried for a while there.

I'm trying not to get excited, nothing in my support profile yet. I'll keep checking.

Back to cmd r.... cmd r.... cmd r.... :D

Finally!

And in my original shipping window of the 24th!

This is reported from my FedEx Account - FedEx Delivery Manager -- Make sure you have an account with the delivery company in your country as you will get notice from them before Apple.

I have 32 GB of Crucial RAM to install upon delivery. I am going to use a 4TB Thunderbolt RAID array for storage and I have another 256GB Samsung 840 SSD that I plan to use either as a clone of the main drive or scratch disk for Photoshop. Or, maybe the best way is setup a 4 or 8 GB RAM disk for scratch. Any opinions?

You ordered your 2 days after mine, I'm in the uk

I have no idea how they fulfill orders. But maybe it depends on the configuration, which makes little sense since parts is parts as we say;-)

I hope everyone gets their Macs ASAP. I am so excited, because I have not had a Mac since my Performa 400 died in 1998. My first Mac was the 1984 512K and then many others. But in the 1990's Apple was on a downhill run into oblivion so I switched to PC.

Funny, and my wife hates me for this, I bought Apple shares for $13! back then. I did this because I really was a fan. But I did buy enough, so instead of being an Apple millionaire...well you get it.

Went to Preparing for Shipment!! :D I've never been so happy to see three words before. Now I'm crossing my fingers that it actually ships.

Great. Let's hope that Apple was setting worst case expectations with their delay notice so that all customers waiting would be ecstatic to get their Macs "early."

Oh, sign up for a FedEx account or whatever shipper they use in your country. I did NOT get a shipping notice from Apple. I got it from my FedEx account which monitors all shipments to my address.

Nope...

How does Apple ship in your country? If FedEx then make sure you have an account because Delivery Manager will show all packages to your address.

I don't know how they deliver here, it was two years ago I had my last delivery from Apple and can't remember (crikey, I can't remember what I had dinner last night! :p)
