Nah they wouldn't do that would they ? Seriously I do think phoning Apple CS got the delay email sent out

Hang in there your original dates were the same as mine but you have maxed it out more than i did. Surely, It must ship today or tomorrow. My fingers are crossed for you:)

Still in "Preparing for Ship" mode. No addition to my Support Profile yet. Where's that damn rabbit's foot... It's needing a big RUB right about now.
 
What day did you order again and where are you located?

Ok...change to my status today as well, it's now moved to 'preparing for dispatch'. Ordered 6 November and today was the end of the 7-10 day dispatch period.

Given what others have experienced, status may well change back overnight but original delivery period 25-28 November still applies at the moment. Really hoping to see 'Dispatched' tomorrow morning!

I just got a ship confirm with tracking number. coming via FedEx out of Shanghai. Shipped on 11/20. Delivery scheduled for Tues, 11/25.

original order placed on 10/30.
4GHz i7 / 8gb ram / 512gb ssd / 295x

Just checked... and the unit shows up in my Support Profile now.

WOOP WOOP:) They are starting to move again, here is hoping all those waiting will be rewarded by the sound and sight of the despatch notification. :)

All in time for the Black Friday deals :eek:
 
does the support profile only update if you get applecare auto enrolled? i ordered applecare along with my imac but it shipped separately in a little box, it came with a code that i think i have to register myself.

congrats to everyone getting their imacs shipped :) mine's still processing though...
 
For what its worth:


I was in the Toronto Apple Store today and mentioned to the one guy i was speaking to that there seemed to be a problem with r27" iMacs not being delivered on time, with some people waiting 5 weeks or so........and he just told me they were swamped with more purchases then they had counted on.

I suspect you will all love your iMacs and if there are any problems, that they will be worked out on software updates
