iPhone 11 I returned my 11 pro for a 11

I remember when Apple people would only make fun of Android....now we have people fighting over stupid crap like LCD vs OLED....iPhone 11 vs Pro Models lol

Just buy what you want and call it a day. No one in the real world cares what phone you have.

EXACTLY šŸ‘

And you can get an 18watt charger on amazon for $30, plug and lightning to type c cable included. Charging my phone as we speak with it. The pro really isn’t worth the $300 extra imo

Apple can give away my 18 watt fast charger. I’d still pay the difference without it. People paid it last year.

Those chunky bezels are awful on the 11.

These various threads that promote the regular 11 or suggest the pro might not be worth the premium price really seem to trigger you don’t they lol

Absolutely. Either way I own both devices and I appreciate both phones for what they each offer for the price you pay. But, anyone who thinks You do not get what you pay for with a Pro model is in denial. They are totally different phones! And we experience this kind of price premium up charge with even minor changes in any kind of product we purchase.

if you own a iPhone 11 then that is great, if you own a pro model then whatever too. Be happy with what you have.

This entire thread was started just to justify the OP’s decision. And any post from a user that states neutral or negative towards the pro and positive from the iPhone 11 gets one more like from him. OP might just love your post Though lol

So why do you take it so personally? Even if that was the reason for the OP, I would think if you are comfortable with the decision you made then you would not be making so many targeted attack posts on the 11 that other people have chosen to buy. In essence you’re doing the very thing that you just condemned.

I have the Pro Max as well but I guess I’m different in that I don’t continuously try to defend the phone I purchased or talk down about the phone others chose.

This is where I am struggling to think the same. Could you elaborate your thought by saying they are totally different phones? I have got both (11 Pro and then now 11) and I couldn't say that they are totally different phones. Indeed they are some small differences but not has huge and especially to justify that price difference.

In term of price difference, my approach was to compare the £1,149 (iPhone 11 Pro, 256gb) against £779 (iPhone 11, 128gb) so a difference of £370 since there is no 128gb option on the iPhone 11 Pro side.

Well I’ve just switched from a XS Max to an 11 and to be honest it feels like quite a nice upgrade to me. It’s a little smaller, more comfortable in the hand without being a small phone.

The LCD is actually very nice once you’ve been using it for a bit - good white balance, clarity and brightness. The OLED was great but to be honest I wouldn’t notice the difference between the 2 unless held side-by-side.

I think the battery on the 11 lasts longer than the XS Max and the cameras produce much better, more engaging shots.

To be honest the Pro seems to add not much more than a zoom lens and OLED screen. To me it’s just like speccing a new car with a few extras - some folk do and some don’t. No biggie really.

I really do like the iPhone 11. This is a extremely capable phone for only $699.99. with an A13 pushing graphics at the lower resolution it will perform better than any phone on the planet as far as frames per second goes. So, I see the iPhone 11 as a superior choice for strictly performance.

My only argument in this thread was that the $300 does give you what you pay for.

The only thing I said bad about the iPhone 11 was it had thick bezels and a LCD shows shadows and is not always uniform in the corners or notch.

^ I think (4) other people mentioned it had thick bezels too? And some even mentioned the shadowing.

The iP11 is just 7mm taller, 4 mm wider, 2 mm thicker and bezels 1 mm thicker.

Is incredible how those littler number affect on the use, handle and the look. I used the 11 Pro for 2 days and sent it back due to OLED issues; I went back to the regular 11 and couldn“t stand the size, weight (with a case OMG, horrible) and the chunky bezels.

Sold the 11 and got the 8 4,7 with 128 gb.

Let“s see next year the revamp of the 8 or the 5,4 PRO or whatever naming they have.

Why have you returned the Pro?

The iPhone 11 is only 0,2 mm thicker and 6 grams heavier than the 11 Pro, which is about no difference at all. But the price difference of $400 for the 128/256 version is substantial!

For me the little numbers in height and width make a difference, the 11 with a case is uncomfortable and a brick.

The price jump for the 256 on the Pro is too much, totally; and the 64 feels like too little for a 1000 dls phone in 2019.

It amazes me that most people don't seem to notice the massive bezels. When I saw the XŹ€ last year, that's one of the first things that I noticed - those thick bezels. They sort of jump out at you!! That, plus the crappy screen resolution, plus the inferior camera (no zoom!) and yeah - the iPhone 11 Pro is absolutely worth the extra money, IMO.

256gb iphone 11 vs 256gb iPhone 11 Pro is $300 dollar difference.

Difference is $550AUD here, after having the XR for 8 months it's worth it to me. Smaller/thinner, bit lighter, less bezel, better camera, like the matt back better, OLED is a bonus, much better to hold with no case, and Apple black leather case is great, they don't make them for the XR/11.

Oh and my wife still has a Xr so i can see the difference first hand.

Same ppl who defend Oled like their life is on the line and criticize lcd are the same ppl who used lcd for a decade while android users had the privilege to enjoy oled since 2009. So it’s quite funny
The same people watching TV everyday on an LCD panel with ā€œThickā€ bezels with no issues, knowing dang well the only OLED they have in their house is their watch and a 6 inch phone screen šŸ˜‚

This proves it, Who wouldn't have a OLED TV if they could afford it.
