Not necessarily true. LG OLEDs constantly go on sale and are competitively priced nowadays.Oled tv’s do look incredible. You can spot them in the bunch half way across the store on display too. They’re are still quite expensive though.
Meh. Not gonna derail the thread, but If you can afford a $1200 phone you can afford an LG OLED panel, you’ll need a second or 3rd job for a Sony OLED though lol. This proves it, Who wouldn't have a OLED TV if they could afford it.
Why? Because others dwell on that? I honestly wonder if no one told you what the resolution was on the 11 if you’d even be able to tell.I just can’t do anything less than 1080 screen in 2020

Again this is all on Apple not OLED display......Yup. I’m with you too. I’m actually a little confused why everyone prefers the OLED so much more. My iPhone X gives me mad headaches, but I have a hard time sacrificing features to get the LCD screen. I’m hoping the iPhone 12 won’t have OLED or at least will get rid of PWM.

You’re right. You would probably come out in a rash if you even dared go in to 2020 with a phone screen that ‘on paper’ didn’t say 1080 or above.
I think everyone who has an 11 needs to listen here and return their 11’s for a Pro at once as 2020 is coming and this display will just not do.
🙄
Catching onto sarcasm isn’t one of your stronger points, is it..couldnt have said it better
But if somebody’s happy then what’s it to me.
It amazes me that most people don't seem to notice the massive bezels. When I saw the Xʀ last year, that's one of the first things that I noticed - those thick bezels. They sort of jump out at you!! That, plus the crappy screen resolution, plus the inferior camera (no zoom!) and yeah - the iPhone 11 Pro is absolutely worth the extra money, IMO.
I just chock up these threads as, "I was going to get the LCD iPhone all along, just wanted to use my return window to test the expensive device", then run to post how they didn't like it or it wasn't worth it.
Now they can tell anyone who listens, "Yea, I had the Pro, it just wasn't worth it."
I love my 11, especially the LCD tint. But bezels are so massive (and 6.1 is little too big for me)... plus I really miss the telephoto. I´ll probably swap again for a pro.
IDC of the pure black on OLED.
From my current experience, I got used to the size and now I really feel that 6.1'' offers the best of the two worlds between 5.8'' and 6.5'' because you get the Max screen features (Landscape mode in several apps, More space on the screen) and into a smaller form factor than the Max.
I am personally fine with the bezels and don't feel that they are so massive and for me it wouldn't justify to go back to the iPhone 11 Pro and pay the extra £420 (iPhone 11 128gb -> iPhone 11 Pro 256gb).
Last but not least my iPhone 11 Pro was rocking a uniform screen but much warmer than my last year iPhone Xs Max. My iPhone 11 screen has a great cooler screen (white are really really white) and now this is my last year iPhone XS max which is looking much warmer when comparing them.
I liked very much my original iPhone 11 Pro with its very "pocketable" size and the build premium build while I am still not so convinced with this year OLED panel. But again I don't feel that at any point it worth the extra money looking at what the iPhone 11 is already offering.
I love the battery of the iPhone Pro MAX, because I have an iPhone X, and always I have to take the charger with me all the time. I want to buy 11 or 11 Pro Max, depends the battery life that it would give me. Which do you recommend in this case. There are some more factors to determinate my choice, but the battery life is so important in my day because I can’t charge my iPhone when I want it and it means that if I go out after a day in university I don’t have any battery to survive
This is where I’m trying to make a decision. What’s important to me is pocketability. The 11 Pro is that but for an extra $300?
Meh. He's only stating the obvious while missing out the fine detail. The 11 is for the average user/masses. But if you want oled and/or bigger battery you get the Pro Max. He wants the bigger battery so has to pay the premium for it. This was Apples plan, everything is as it should be.Interesting video for this thread:
