Interesting moral dilemma...
very simple don't post questions like this. millions of peolpe can read it. second right now you have not done anything wrong. If you take the money out of your account if you let the account go under 2700 you are passing a bad check. basically you wrote a check for 2700 as long as you keep the funds in the bank you have not done anything wrong. It is up to apple to cash the check. It is up to you to keep enough funds in the account. The problem is you will now need to keep available funds.
Think of it like this you gave the landscaper a check for fall cleanup say 250 bucks. lets say he holds it until christmas eve 50 days or so . You don't need to call and ask him why did you not cash the check? You do need to keep the funds available. So if apple asks for the money 70 days from now and your account is short you passed a bad check. If you can keep funds available you are not guilty of any law breaking. Personally always wondering if apple will ask for the money and always making sure the funds are there is more work then I want to do.
Yeah even though apple has billions and I have thousands. I don't need the 2700 dollar anchor for the next year or so. Depends on your state law.
It's saddening to see how many are willing to post their approval of the idea of theft, displaying their lack of ethics and integrity. I suspect they're also revealing their age range, as well. All I can say is our society is in for a troublesome future. It's certainly nothing to be proud of.

Why do people post things like this?
I promise you all, if Apple forgets to charge me for my purchase, I will not burden any of you with this information.
You hit the nail on the head. It amazes me the sense of entitlement demonstrated by people in general these days, especially kids and young adults.
You forgot us criminals![]()
Since when was fraud ok?
We had a guy eat at our restaurant and he paid with his credit card (as many people do). It turns out that he never got charged for it, when his statement came in and the meal wasn't on it he came to our store and paid for it in cash (with his receipt). All I can say is that this man made my day and increased my confidence in the honesty of American people.
Just a story I wanted to share.
This would not be the way I would go. I'd want to resolve the issue (key word-resolve).
I've had banks make rather substantial errors with my accounts, as most of you have experienced i'm sure, where there is a delay in them taking out their pound of flesh (so to speak).
They get their cut, that's for sure.
That is exactly what I and many others would do, and have done so on many occasions.I wonder if you had work done around your house and paid the landscaper by check. If a month went by and it never came through your account would you call the contractor and ask them why they hadn't cashed your check?
If you doubt that many people would, it may be a reflection on the caliber of people you spend time with. I can't think of anyone I personally know that wouldn't do the same. And it's not trolling to state one's honest opinions.I highly doubt that many people would despite the comments being made by the "older more mature"high horse riders that seem to be trolling this thread.
If you interpret integrity as arrogance, that's your problem.Your arrogance is offending
