As soon, as I opened iPhoto it started running through the recognition stuff.. 24 minutes to go!
Should be available as early as tomorrow. No official word yet obviously. Now that iLife '09 is shipping, does anybody know about the Mac Box Set?
So my Mom picked up the "Family Pack" from Best Buy this afternoon for the $99.99.....however, Best Buy mislabeled the box. The box she got is the standard version, not the family pack.
Any reason we should return it to Best Buy to get the actual Family Pack? Considering she did spend the Family Pack price?

The Apple Store emailed me to say that my Box Set has shipped, and should arrive tomorrow.![]()
Got home from work, saw this thread, ordered from BB for in-store pickup and had it in hand (including 10 min. drive time) in about 25 minutes total
Very quick and painless, but I was ready to give'm a sob story if need be!!
You might be surprised then.Yes, many get less than what's advertised, but not *one tenth* of what's advertised.
Actually, it all started out with Baud rates many years ago. This evolved into the more commonly known bits per second. They're not on bps to keep everyone on the same sheet. For the longest time, even when the internet was in it's infancy, the megabyte has been the standard for measuring files.
The ISPs choose to use Mbps over MBps because 99% of people don't know the difference. The average Joe isn't going to know that Mbps is actually 8 times slower than what he thinks he's getting.
Faces does sound interesting.can't wait to start using faces
I migrated to Apple almost 2 years ago and haven't looked back. My question is this; With the new OS looming on the horizon, will it include the new iLife, iWorks etc? Asking because I'd like to get the new iLife in particular, just wondering if money best spent by waiting on new OS. Thanks in advance.![]()
