I ordered in the early afternoon on September 30th. Estimate for delivery was October 9th to 11th.

It's still processing... not even preparing for shipment yet.

3.5Ghz i7
3TB Fusion
780M
16GB ram

Anyone else in a similar boat....???

I ordered on the 29th with a similar configuration (except 8GB ram and 3.4Ghz i5). The status changed from 'processing' to 'preparing for shipment' in the last few hours, and I am on the east coast of the US.

Alright, maybe I can hope for a similar update on mine by tomorrow!

I want to place an order for a 21.5 inch or 27 inch. If I choose the 21.5, I may or may not get the fusion drive. That's the only thing that would change, RAM CPU would stay the same.

If I order the 21.5 inch with a Fusion Drive by October 10, would it get here by October 15? I need it by then and I get paid from work on the 10th so that's the soonest I can buy.

Ah, as I thought. So I'm getting the European speed processing even though I'm in Washington State.

Which is veeeery weird since I am also in Washington State, ordered on the 30th, and will be getting mine tomorrow as well. I did notice someone from Oct 1st get shipping ahead of me as well with the 780M.

I am located in Australia and ordered my 27" iMac yesterday morning.

3.4GHz Quad-core Intel Core i5
8GB 1600MHz DDR3 SDRAM-2X4GB
256GB Flash Storage
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 780M 4GB GDDR5

Order Status: Processing Items
Delivers: 14/10/2013 - 17/10/2013 by Standard Shipping

Can't wait! :D

Charming. Mine still is not preparing to ship.

Mine just marked as 'shipped', about six hours after being marked as 'preparing to ship', so once you get to the next hump, things seem to move pretty quickly.

Alright, well since you ordered one day before me I'll hold out hope that I'm just on the later end of the spectrum and that my order hasn't been flubbed. Mine better go into preparing for shipment tomorrow.

I called my Apple business guy today to politely ask 'wtf' and he said there was a three day holiday in China which is causing the slower builds. A lot of the shorter delivery examples here have been the US and EU ones which are being put together in California and Ireland respectively. Everyone else should be getting theirs via China which is what is causing the slower time.

I'll be at two weeks since order tomorrow. I was the first BTO 27" order in the store so even he is surprised it's not finished already. He said it's unlikely I'll get it until next week now.

Part of me doesn't mind this as it means i'll have until the end of October to change my mind. I'm keen for the MBP or Mac Mini to get their Haswell update so I can do a better comparison of what to get. The longer it takes to receive the iMac the more questions I have about it as a choice.

Well just an update on my iMac. It has been shipped from Cork, Ireland yesterday and via Germany (sorting hub I guess), I got my iMac today around 2pm. Upgraded to 32GB ram no problem and got my documents in using Migration Assistant, the speed is amazing! :D

I am located in Italy and ordered 27" iMac (3.5Ghz i7, 8GB, 1TB Fusion Drive & GTX 780M) 3th October.

Order Status: Shipped this afternoon from Cork, Irland
Delivers Estimate 15/10/2013

Originally ordered two 27" i7's for our office on Oct 19. Then the spec bump. It hadn't shipped out yet, so we asked if we'd get the new specs...they said they had to revise the order to confirm, which they did. That was Sept 24. Our order finally flipped to 'preparing to ship' this morning.

I thought we may have been stuck in Apple limbo with our order lost within their system (as they did that to us before when we placed an order for 3 machines back in January).....glad to hear they didn't lose our order

Mine is mailed! ;)
Strange thing.. In the mail it says oct 14. When i click on trace it it says oct 16 and when i click on another link it says oct 17
So i have 3 dates.. and off course 14:th is on a monday!
So if i am reaaaally lucky i may get it on friday?:eek::confused::eek:

Hi I ordered my iMac 25th september never got it they made a mistake. I´m also from Denmark perhaps the danich apple online store is making the same mistake on your iMac order. I had to call the danich apple store to get the problem fixed. For you I hope you do not have to reorder as I had to.

Call them now before 19:00 hours or call them tomorrow. I hope we both get our iMac soon.

Best of luck mate
