That's when all of the Apple retail stores are opening around me (all 3).

EDIT: Okay, so just out of curiosity, I called a store near me again (not one closest, but 2nd) and they said they'll have them tomorrow. I asked, are you DEFINITELY going to have them tomorrow? He said, as soon as we open. So now my only thing is, do I even bother going to the one closest to me or just hit the one that's definite?

Good luck

That's what time the east coast stores will start to open.

That's true. Hope they update online inventory before then.

How much further? I would do that one...

That would be really convenient. I'll be up way before opening time (10:00AM) anyway, so I'm going to be checking the pick-up option online til the moment I start driving.

I'll come back to this thread and keep everyone posted on whether I successfully get my hands on them or not.

I went there earlier today and the guy told me that as soon as I can see that I can do an In-Store pickup option online they'd be available in-store (inventoried and all).

I was refreshing my cart and I noticed that the pickup option just became available! (At least for the 13" MBP with upgraded specs that I want) and now I'm waiting for it to be processed :D I'll pick it up tonight.

Great, thanks. I'll probably do the same thing.

Ugh, it changed from 5-7 days to 7-10 days now for the past hour it has been at 2-3 weeks.

You're not talking about the Retina MacBook Pros, are you? It doesn't come in 13"...

Stores are closed here and no RMBP

I went to the :apple:Store in Arkansas today and they said they are pulling an all nighter to put the new models on display. The guy said they will be available as soon as the store opens at 10:00 AM!

I am in VA and all the stores in the state that I've checked currently say that the 13 inch MBA will be available in stores on June 21. This seems strange and I'm hoping that's not the case and it's just a worst case date. Still definitely going to be at the store at opening tomorrow to see for myself when they will be available.

Most stores have the two "base" model, non-retina 15" in stock and ready to sell by tomorrow morning. Don't know if they have the Retina model(s).

If you're on the West Coast and they have an item "in the back" that you want to get tonight, they should be willing to sell it to you IF you can give them the model number (i.e. MD104LL/A for 2.6 non-retina) to key in as it's not in their Easy Pay system until probably tonight. They have them though and they can sell it to you!

Where are you getting your information?

Look at the view count of this thread... I think it is going to be crazy trying to get one of these unfortunately :(

2-3 weeks wait! wtf!!!!

+1 And I bet it's just a marketing drive. Wait the headlines tomorrow. New RMBP with non user upgradability, more expensive sold out instantly. Then the inevitable ques and frenzy at Apple Stores.

I actually want one and fear I am missing out because of stupid marketing games.

Do you have any idea if they were talking about the Retina MBP?

Yes, I repeated myself like 3 times to make absolutely sure they have the retina ones and the guy i talked to repeated back to me that they were retina. Getting excited!
