Installed: Speck CandyShell for iPhone 4

Is this what you guys are asking about? Lower right corner of my case after a day and a half worth of use, in a loose shirt pocket. I'm not happy with this.

yeah the "pencil eraser" effect happened to my old version big time. The back is scratched to hell. friend bought a revised version and it does the same thing. I am getting a white one so I'll see if that is any different.

Exactly - this is unacceptable, especially for a $35.00 "high end" case!

I really like the style of this case, but it needs different materials that don't flake or scratch (like the back side does)
 
I have the white one but not the one with the oval camera cut out... I too emailed Speck about the flash issues and this "eraser" effect on the edges but they simply did not reply me... :mad: Maybe because I'm living in Singapore? :rolleyes:

Actually, they are sending both the Pixelskin HD and the Candyshell because I got the Pixelskin HD through Apple's free case program and the version they sent me sucks. I bought the Candyshell through AT&T when I first bought my iPhone. Sorry if I misled you. I still haven't received a tracking number or a confirmation that my cases have been shipped. Oh well! I can't wait to go to Asia to buy cute cases for a fraction of the price. :D
 
If we don't receive revised candyshells in the mail tomorrow then specks customer service officially sucks. Every company knows not to lie to its customers.
 
I got my replacement Candyshell from Speck today!! It was delivered via FedEx and is definitely the new and improved version with the larger cut-outs.

Woohooo!

This is with the new style case? I had one for about a day or so before I returned it and didn't have issue. I tried even picking at it and didn't have the issue.
 
Janelle e-mailed me back she told me because of the color I picked (some kind of pink combo), it will be another 1-2 weeks. However, if I were to pick one of the available colors on their website, she could send it out now. I'm okay with waiting another 2 weeks because I'm not in a big rush in getting my case. I just don't want to be forgotten.
 
Did they send both of you guys emails saying it was shipped or did it magically appear at your door? I emailed and they said they'll send me an email once shipped.

I have same issue too!

I got mine at AT&T store and going to exchange it. Any other case that's similar?

Honestly, the Candyshell was the only case I've seen of it's kind. The next best thing would be the Speck Fitted case. I may stop by the AT&T store today to check and see if they have the Speck Fitted revised cases as well.

I like some of the slide cases the AT&T store has but I have a full body clear-coat and not sure how the slide cases
would work with full body protection.

Got mine yesterday, just magically appeared no shipment email, notification etc.

Came overnighted in a white FedEx "small box," which is about the same size as a 15" mbp only twice as thick. Mine also came with a free "3 Pak" speck shield view.

Makes me feel like I got jipped LOL

I got nothing other than the replacement candyshell.
 
Got my replacement today with the shield views. The new version is awesome...well worth the wait.(almost heh)
 
Lost receipt!!!

Hey guys!

I really need your help! I contacted speck bacause of an replacement of my speck candyshell (black). But unfortunately I lost my receipt so they don't want to replace it:(. Is there anybody who could be so kind to send me a copy of his/her AT&T or BEST BUY receipt? This would be very, very nice!!! Just send me short message!

Where is the cheapest place to get version 2? The shipping rates from Speck are ridiculous!
 
anyone else still waiting for the revised version? I still havent received mine... Maybe its cause i live all the way on the east coast...
