Same here. It said it was in stock but then my order was showing backordered until this morning, so I'm hoping it's the revised case. Does anyone know if they pulled the old cases off the shelves or are they still selling?

When did you place your order? I did it yesterday so just trying to get a feel for when it'll come off backorder.
yup i've had mine for over a week now and its flaking like mad. I really like this case so I pray the revamped version is a lot better. The other thing is it scuffs like mad but hey its a case.
I ordered on 7/6 11:30 pm. Came off backorder around 7am today. Still not shipped, though.
I ordered my Speck CandyShell from AT&T on July 3rd. (It still hasn't shipped)
A few questions I have:
Will I get the revamped version or the old one? (I'm assuming the old one)
All I have to do to get the revamped version is take a picture of my receipt and email them?

This is the problem I had with my CandyShell for my 3GS. One day in my bag, and it was flaking. I'm going to pass, thanks.
I have 2 CandyShells for my 3G and both of them never had the flake issue. Although one of them cracked.
I have seen that Cotton Candy color so someone has it. I was at the Apple Store and some girl had it on her i4. I also saw a kid with the Camo Fitted but have never seen it at ATT and its not available online so...
Speck's website says that particular color is exclusive to AT&T Stores. Sp they will carry it eventually.
On the premier site the Candyshells are available, but on the regular AT&T site, they're showing out of stock. I wonder what that's about. 
Just got my candyshell case from AT&T online today, got the flash haze in the pictures, some reason, i didnt get charged from AT&T, I had a pending charge, that is no longer on my account, and do not see the charge on my account. maybe they messed up. everything appears to be centered perfectly on the case, charge port is good, lock switch button is good and centered as well. loving the case so far. guess ill contact Speck and get on the order thing from them and get the replacement for the revamped one.
probably will get an older case, but I just contacted Speck and received this email

We certainly apologize for the design flaw in the CandyShell cases! Our development team realized this issue with the camera flash as soon as they got an actual iPhone 4 to test (same day as the general public, June 23/24th!). Theyve quickly made a running change in production, and will have replacement CandyShell cases ready for you in 2-3 weeks.
Please send the following items so we can get a replacement out to you as soon as we get em. You can send these items either thru the mail or in response to this email.
A copy/scan/photo of your receipt
Your name and mailing address
Which case and which color you have (you can send a picture if you like)
Till then, if youd like to quickly fix the one youve got, take your phone out of the case, and color the cutout of the camera and flash with a black sharpie or other permanent marker. Make sure the ink is dry before putting your phone back in, and color carefully so you dont get ink on the inside or outside of your case! This will cut the glare and allow you to use the flash without an issue, till your replacement case arrives!

sent them the email and said 2-3 weeks, and it seems like I get to keep this case for the time being. great customer service!
Finally found one at my AT&T store tonight. Only took three trips and then tonight I had to ask the manager if they had any because the had no iPhone 4 cases out. Goes in back and comes out with a armful of different cases....including the Candyshell I now own.
Loved it on my 3G, love it on my iPad and love it even more on my 4. Tons of protection, looks great and has a great feel.

Got my candyshell, great case, even better than the 3GS version. I definitely have a huge flash issue, but speck is sending a new one when they're available.
Has anyone noticed how the rubber lip on the front is wider? I like that. It's also lighter than the other one (maybe it's the honeycombed interior?). It seems to bring out the inherent sleekness in the design of the phone (makes me like it even better).
One thing I do NOT like is how it's more difficult to press the volume buttons.

Has anyone had any luck with requesting a different color than what they originally ordered as their replacement?
you tell them what you want, i posted what my email stated, and I had the choice of selecting what I wanted after sending them my order confirmation. the last option was which color I would have liked.
