Only 4% 🪫 left. Been hitting roughly 6 hours with previous iOS updates. About to slow charge my iPhone with 5W Apple Charger overnight. Hopefully, in the upcoming days, I expect to hit 8-9 solid hours. I’d be happy with that.

Anyone else notice that AirPods Pro (first gen) no longer has double-tap functionality?? Also media playback keeps crashing halfway through. Apple Music is impossible. 😕

How’s battery for iP14PM users? I’m on 16.3 on my 14PM and everything has been pretty good, don’t know whether to update or not.

Interestingly I turned off beta, installed 16.4, and lo and behold, I still have the Feedback app.
Did a reboot and it persists. See below.

Also the Photo Select screen has changed. I used to have two rows in the middle; the top row was actual devices or persons I could send the photo to, the lower row was app or function to use to send. I now only have the app or function row. Add to this the menu selections have shrunk. I remember there were several options where now below Copy Photo I have just three. See below.

I didn't pay attention but as you mentioned it, I checked and the feedback app is there as well.

Am I to expect battery health go down by 2% as per every upgrade in history?

Anyone noticed any changes to Wi-Fi behaviour on this update? Previously my devices would constantly unpair from 5GHz networks, the networks would still show up under my saved list but the devices won't auto-connect to them and every time I manually connect they keep asking for the password. Sometimes if I enter the password it straight-up says it's incorrect.

Has this been fixed in 16.4?

Did anyone else notice odd change in lock screen colors, most notably the wallpaper?
My wallpaper now after updating has some very odd white blobs in areas which were whitish before, and other white parts are just darker gray now (or maybe it's just more noticeable there, the whole wallpaper is a bit darker though compared to 16.3.1)

After installing 16.4, each new incoming SMS creates a new thread in Messages App. Now I have two XXXBANK, two VODAFONE etc in my Messages list. new ones are piled in the new one, older ones are archived. Muted contacts are unmuted.

Yup noticed this too. If you apply this wallpaper for example it adds dirty gray blotches to it.

I'm also on 16.3 and battery is fine, no bugs...better wait to some feedback before updating o 16.4.
This is my plan also. My 14 pro has been awesome on 16.3.1. I plan to wait at least a good week or two to pull the trigger. Let the rest of the general public test this thing out.

The only thing that interests me with the new update is the high yield savings account feature with the apple wallet but that’s not even available yet. Heck it might not even come until 16.5.

I’m not ready to have that sinking feeling of things being weird right after a new update and having the annoyance of either waiting for the x.1 fix things or rolling back to a previous version!

Yeah that's very odd. My wallpaper also just has one clear white blob and a couple of gray blobs. And my wallpaper also happens to be yellow and white lol.

Has the dev configuration profile download disappeared from anyone else’s Apple Developer account?
Yes. Apple is no longer using the profiles after iOS 16.4. The settings option is where you now select if you want betas or not.

I restored to the rc version of 16.4, and the battery performance and stability are the best I've had in iOS 16 on my iphone 13 pro.
On the other hand, the time to try iOS 16.4 is now, restoring with iCloud or iTunes backup does not lose any data. And if you are not convinced by this version, iOS 16.3.1 is still being signed and you can install it, restoring a modified copy of iTunes from iOS 16.4 or one that you have from iOS 16.3.1.
I would not wait for people's opinions, because each one of us uses the mobile in a different way and my experience does not have to be repeated in your case.

Quit Interesting and eager to see.

Software updates are important for bug fixes, changes, and improvements. Bug fixes improve the system's overall stability and functionality by resolving issues that users may have encountered while using previous versions of the software. Changes can bring about new features, improvements, or changes that can make the user experience better. Performance, security, and accessibility optimizations are also options for enhancements.

It's critical to read the release notes for any software update to see what new features and fixes have been added. Users may gain a better understanding of the software's potential changes and whether or not it is worth updating as a result of this. In general, it is possible to maintain software's smooth operation and enhance the user experience with regular updates.
